Raven Alby (a young witch) is the star of this series, and she’s joined by Leander, her red dragon.

“The Return of Raven” is the first novel in the “WarMage Redux” series and was released in 2021. When one door closes for Raven Alby, she’ll just kick another one open. Raven’s about to graduate from Fowler Academy with Leander by her side. Just like her late mom before her, she’s taking on the responsibilities of a WarMage, and has joined up with the kingdom’s army corps along with their fleet of dragons.

It’s time to get ready for whatever the world throws her way and her homeland, which is the kingdom of Lomberdoon. There is something affecting these dragons, both time and wild. A few have turned up crazed, spitting ice and fire, just before they die. Could the creepy and crawly monsters that used to plague the kingdom leave a final poisonous gift behind?

Can Dr. Welby, the corps veterinarian, figure out what is causing it and make a cure before it is too late? And Connor, Raven’s grandpa, has gone missing. Can Bella (her frenemy) and her private company track him down for Raven, in exchange for a favor, obviously?

Things have been changing in the land of Lomberdoon and there just might be battles on the horizon. So who will stand with Leander and Raven?

“Dragons Rising” is the second novel in the “WarMage Redux” series and was released in 2021. Be careful about angry WarMages and dragons. They’ll forget all about the ketchup and just burn you to a crisp.

No sooner has one battle ended, but the war has just kicked off. Dr. Welby and Raven believe they have got the fungus destroyed and all of the dragons cured, however more are turning up dead or sick. What could they have missed? They had to have missed something in those caves, but what? Even the dragons back at William’s ranch are infected and are going downhill. He seeks Raven’s help finally before it is too late.

Making things worse: Leander’s mom is sick too. Who could be behind this? It isn’t natural, that is for sure. The wild dragons have spotted some strangers out in the mountains. Could these be an invading force responsible for the attacks on the dragons? Where are they from and how can Leander and Raven possibly stop them? And where on earth is Connor Alby? They could definitely use his help right about now.

“Scale and Fire” is the third novel in the “WarMage Redux” series and was released in 2021. How can Leander and Raven stop a war with some distant kingdom? First, they’ll try and make nice. And when that fails, bring along their fire breathing dragon.

Raven’s still serving in her kingdom’s special forces. And her recent mission is this special request to restore peace by returning the prisoners of Malenspire. The island kingdom is far away and Raven’s got time to think about telling the king that she was responsible for his son’s dying.

Is the journey just going to end in a dangerous battle? Or could the king have a surprise request for Raven which could change the entire course of her life? Raven is going to turn to her trusted dragon and ask for Leander to stand by her side while she makes up her mind. Do what the king asks her to end all the wars or march her way into battle.

“Red Raven” is the fourth novel in the “WarMage Redux” series and was released in 2021. What do you get when you mix a feud in with a fleet of dragons? A fiery war with Raven at the front of the pack. The king knows that Raven killed his son and he does not want to get revenge. He just wants some help finding an heir that will replace him. What sort of twisted plot is this anyway? And if she doesn’t help him, Raven cannot complete her most important mission.

However there is something else that’s going on here. The Malendesh army are using all of the magical and dangerous ore to hide and abuse their sea serpents during their war exercises. The foreign military is up to something rather dark. Could their king have taken notice?

Are Bella and Raven going to stop a mutiny on Malenspire before the land is overrun? Leander, the loyal and fierce red dragon could hold the key to solving this mystery and saving the day.

“Above the Storm” is the fifth novel in the “WarMage Redux” series and was released in 2022. Raven Alby and the STAR force have this important choice to make. Are they going to go back home and get ready for war? Or will they help the citizens of Malendesh and their prevent a military overthrow?

It’s actually a pretty easy choice. Raven and Leander run toward a fight. Not away. So they stand with Malendesh. And if they can possibly free the magically enslaved sea serpents that are filling the waters all around the island, so much the better then.

Is the alliance between Malenspire and Lomberdoon be strengthened once again? Or is something going to go wrong? And with magic coming back to stay, how many more creatures are going to discover abilities that they never had before, like Leander?

“Wing and Fury” is the sixth novel in the “WarMage Redux” series and was released in 2022. Raven’s very first diplomatic mission was a success with Leander, her dragon and familiar, by her side.

However now that the WarMage has returned, funny things have been happening with the land that she calls home. Lomberdoon is showing odd new signs of life. Exactly like Connor, her old warrior grandpa, had predicted.

It isn’t just magical ore and lethal dragon diseases any longer. Now, the wildlife and plantlife are changing many years after magic has returned. Including, giant killer rodents? Possibly the sea serpents knew what they were talking about, after all.
