Hailing from the Philippines, the American author Tif Marcelo is a novelist of modern romance novels, as she writes definite stories from the heart that are close and personal to her, something which her many fans have also come to appreciate her for over the years, as she has come a long way in a short amount of time, taking the modern contemporary romance to a whole new level in the process. With a unique style and tone she has been able to craft a style and voice that is entirely unique to her, as well as creating engaging characters that resonate on a deeper level with the reader. Not only that, but her stories are engaging and keep the reader guessing throughout, despite following many of traditional tropes of the genre overall, as she makes them work for her. A firm believer in ‘love at first sight’ she uses this particular ethos to inform a lot of her work and the stories she tells, with her belief that the heart is connected to the eyes. Early and Personal Life

Born in the Philippines, Tif Marcelo was a military spouse growing up constantly on the move, something which would feature heavily within her work over the years. Moving around over nine times as a child she would get to see a lot during her upbringing, as she became inspired by many of the experiences she had and the people she met. This would then see her work becoming a lot more in-depth over time, as her experiences allowed her to take it all to an even deeper level, giving it a high degree of insight.

With a spirit for adventure that’s clearly reflected within her characters, it’s easy to see where this comes from in her own upbringing and childhood. Going on to study at university she gained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, along with a Master of Public Administration, before going on to serve as a veteran Army Nurse. Living with her partner within the DC area they both have four children, as she continues to write on a regular basis, putting out work consistently, something which shall continue for many years to come.

Writing Career

It was in 2017 that she brought out her first novel, with her debut title ‘North To You’; a romantic novel which quickly gained traction within the industry. Soon word-of-mouth spread and many others also found the book to be something which spoke to them personally, as she speaks about love and the strength of families. Providing positive themes and ideas through her work she is able to convey a message of unity and togetherness that really helps inspire her readers, as it uplifts them giving them a sense of vibrancy and life.

Creating the ‘Journey to the Heart’ series of novels, she has managed to create a romance franchise that has also gone on to be positively received as well. With three titles in it that are thematically linked together, they tell individual stories of modern love and relationships, with people finding each other in the modern world. This is something that not only her many critics have come to appreciate, but the general public have enjoyed as well, as she’s achieved a global level of success, with her appeal going universal, something that will carry on for some time to come as her writing career grows from strength-to-strength.

East in Paradise

Coming out through the ‘Pocket Star’ publishing label, this was first released in 2017. Setting up the second title in the ongoing ‘Journey to the Heart’ series, it provides another romance story loosely connected to the first. Brought out on the 4th of September it followed on in much the same vein as before.

Having previously managed a Filipino restaurant, Bryn Aquino returns with an MBA, and now she’s ready to start her very own business. That’s when her investor suddenly pulls out and she’s left in a spot bother, something which is soon to be potentially alleviated after she is offered the chance of starring in an online reality show with an extra large paycheck. The only drawback, though, is that she’ll have to fake a romance with her landlord if they ever hope to see the business get started and make a success of things. Is it really fake, though? Will their feelings shine through? What will become of them both east in paradise?

West Coast Love

Brought out through the ‘Pocket Star’ label once more, this was initially released in 2017. Published only a few months after the second, this was to be the third in the ‘Journey to the Heart’ franchise. Released on the 11th of December, it manages to capture the essence of the previous two book, whilst also developing the series in the process.

A food blogger, Victoria Aquino wants change in her life, something which is spurred on after she is catfished online, as she now hopes to take her writing to the next level. Heading off along the California coast after getting a major writing gig covering BBQ festivals taking all along there, she feels that she may have just the opportunity to do just that. That’s when cameraman Joel Silva turns up and reluctantly has to follow her as her assistant, upset that he didn’t get the job himself, along with trying to ignore the fact that they previously both slept together. Will they overcome their differences? Can the deal with the tension? How will they both fare in their west coast love?
