Mark of the Crijik is the first book in the series of the same name by ThinkTwice. If you are looking for a new book that is brimming with originality, check this one out!
Main character Andross Silver was enjoying his life and things were going along just fine. Everything seemed to change when he found himself on a building and then pushed off. Suddenly, he was in an entirely new world and things are very different.
He has been born again, if this new world is any indication. He has a family, but the downside is that they want to kill him. They gave him a System and Andross now is determined. He has to find his way through all of the challenges of this unique world that he has discovered himself in.
The only thing that he can count as a blessing would be the Mark of the Crijik. This is a divine being’s magical gift, one that is able to give many powers to those that are able to hold it. Another downside to this whole thing is that it kills them when they are twenty-five years old.
Andross knows that if he is to ever be great he has to overcome magic. He also has to get over the death countdown that has been put upon him if he ever wants to survive. The odds are great against him– does he have what it takes to get ahead? Will he find that things are too stacked up against him to ever come out triumphant?
Read this book from ThinkTwice to find out, a LitRPG adventure that will have you following along with the rise of a new hero as he gets stronger, finds out more about magic, and gets to the bottom of what appears to be the almighty trustworthy System.
Koshima Academy is the second book in the Mark of the Crijik series by ThinkTwice. If you liked the first book in this LitRPG series, check this one out!
When it comes to reincarnating into a world that has its own systems and even magic, things have not exactly been easy to adapt to. Andross Silver had to find that out the hard way.
Andross gets marked by a divine and then kidnapped. Just like that, he knows that it is finally time to grow up for real and adapt to this new world that he is going to have to call home. It’s the only thing that he has to do if he wants to survive.
The first steps that he takes towards mastering things must come from the Koshima Academy of Magic. However, things are not all that easy for the ones that are able to get into Koshima. The ones that end up being students there have descended from ancient bloodlines. These contain secrets and riches that others would gladly have in their possession. Some might even be willing to kill for them.
In fact, this is exactly what it is like. There are actual predators that are keeping themselves in all types of corners, laying in wait, ready to strike. Not all of these predators are outside of the grounds of the school, either. Some have safely infiltrated the property.
Then there is the issue of Andross’s family. His father has been exiled to poverty, and his mother carries her own secrets. Now he’s going to need far more than his wits about him if he wants to survive long enough so that he can at last pass away at the young age of twenty-five.
Andross knows that he has to find power out there somewhere, but where is he supposed to find it? He wants to do everything that he can to stay alive, but he’s going to have to find some way to accumulate power if he really wants to make it. Can the hero find what he needs and come out on top? Read this book to find out!
