Tanner is the lead character in a series of novels written by Remington Kane. The author began the publication of Tanner series in 2014 when the first book Inevitable was published. Currently, the series consists of over fifteen novels, and it is currently ongoing.

Inevitable I

This is the first book in Tanner series by Remington Kane. The book introduces the reader to the lead character, Tanner a hired killer who escapes from a Mexican prison and starts a manhunt seeking revenge against the person who was to be his latest target.

For Albert Rossetti, he thought that he was safe and that everything would be back to normal after he framed Tanner for illegal drug possession and had him sent to prison in Mexico. However, fortunately, Tanner has managed to escape the prison, and he is now seeking revenge- and he will not stop unless his target is dead.

Rossetti has already made a peace deal with the person who contracted Tanner to kill him, and the contract (death tag on Rossetti) has been canceled. Unfortunately, this means absolutely nothing to the assassin, Tanner who only lives by his set rules. Tanner is headed for Rossetti despite the man’s mercenaries or even the determined and the troubled FBI agent chasing him. Tanner is coming in deadly, and Tanner never ever fails in his missions.

The first novel in Tanner series is a brilliant read. Much like Terminator, once Tanner accepts the job, no one can stop him, and he will not quit on his mission, not even the employer can terminate the assignment until the contract is completed.

The high powered and respected mobster that hired Tanner never thought that he would escape the fortified Mexico prison and never had the idea that Tanner would try to come after him. Tanner is a well-crafted character, and if you are an action/thriller addict, then he is a character you can read over and over again tirelessly.

In this series, Remington Kane adopts Mickey Spillane writing style. Spillane was an American crime novelist popularly known for writing stories that feature Mike Harmer. Just like in Mike Hammer series, it is not clear how Tanner supports his rivalry. With the adoption of James Patterson technique; short and easily readable paragraphs, Inevitable is a tale that many crime and action lovers will love.

Kill in Plain Sight

This is the second series installment in the Tanner series. After escaping from a fortified Mexican prison and pursuing revenge for a man who double crossed him, Tanner finds himself in more trouble in this second installment as The Conglomerate only wants to see him dead.

The Conglomerate is an organization that possesses a large troop of murderous thugs and resources that can make them achieve anything or kill anyone, but not when it comes to Tanner. Their assumptions that are killing Tanner given their resources and elite killers ready to act is indeed a wrong move. Tanner lethal killing techniques are much more advanced and can easily take down an army of terminators single handily without any weapon.

While he is just one man, Tanner is the last person on this earth you want to mess with or go to war with, and when he allies with one of The Conglomerate target, his chances of surviving and winning this duel are highly increased.

However, this is war, and The Conglomerate only wages war to win, so they send Lars Gruber, possibly the deadliest assassin in the world, and now his only one mission is to take down Tanner in every possible way using any means available. Moreover, a hit man versus hit man war has just begun, and only one can survive.

The second novel in Tanner series by bestselling author Remington Kane is quite addictive far much than the fast one. The author, Kane has woven a fast paced action suspenseful story that you will find it impossible to put it down. The storyline will keep you on the edge of your seat, and in your mind, you will only be wondering and contemplating what is going to happen in the next few pages. There is no lull in the action featured. Tanner may be an evil man by the society’s standards, but he is indeed a good person and takes the trouble to the real villains. You have got to read this exciting novel if you fancy action books.

Making A Killing on Wall Street

There is always a lot of dead bodies piling up around Tanner, but that is the nature of his job. If you love adrenaline paced hit man novels, then this series will not disappoint you.

Suicide or Death

Suicide or Death is the seventh book in Tanner series by Kane. In this book, Tanner and Sara have finally reached an agreement not to murder each other after Sara’s blood sister was taken, hostage. The action in this book takes an inside look at Jennifer’s problems when being hostage and also when forced to travel with her African abductors through the jungle to the main camp. Sarah’s friend, FBI Agent, is hunting down the group and tries to take down the kidnappers one at a time. Subsequently, Tanner and Sara plan a rescue only to end up being captured as well.

However, Tanner makes one ingenious plan that will either see them escape their captivity or ultimately see them dead.
