Suzette Riddick is an American bestselling author of some of the most popular romance fiction in the genre.

However, she loves to refer to herself as a nurse practitioner, mother, and wife who likes to write about imperfect people that are lucky enough to stumble into perfect love.

“Happy Ever After” got her featured in USA Today while her many other novels have made her into an Amazon bestselling author. Suzette Riddick published her first work a short story titled “Baby Love” in 2015 and kicked on from there.

Riddick now has more than two dozen titles to her name spread across several series of novels and single-standing novels.

The Philadelphia native is a huge lover of travel and has been all over the United States. When she is not traveling or writing her bestselling novels, she can often be found reading or shopping for new Chanel Parfum.

Riddick’s love for reading came on very early since by the time she was eight she was often found with a book. The first literary work she remembers reading was E.B. White’s work “Charlotte’s Web.”

She still has vivid memories Of getting excited when her mother told her it was time to go to the library. At the library, she used to rummage through the shelves looking for the perfect book that would take her on an adventurous journey.

When Riddick was fifteen years old, someone gifted her a romance novel and her life would never be the same again. She immediately took to the genre and the rest is history.

Years later, she came across romance fiction penned by African American authors with characters that looked just like her. She nearly lost her mind and began looking for that kind of novel.

She now has an extensive library of romance fiction by African American authors that keeps growing with each passing day.

Suzette Riddick got into writing since she had a great love for the romance genre. She also needed to find some form of escape from the banality of everyday life.

She published the novel “A Special Summer” in 2019 hoping to become an author. The novel went on to receive a lot of positive feedback from readers as they all wanted to know what would happen next.

Since there was such a clamor for a sequel, she penned “When Love Comes Around,” the second of the Love Conquers All series. She would, later on, get nominated for the E-book of the year award at the Emma Awards for her novel “Second Chance at Love.”

While writing and reading are some of the dearest things to her heart, she still asserts that what brings her most joy is being a nursing practitioner, mother, and wife.
