The Seal Team Six series is a series of nonfiction and military thriller novels, which were written by the well known American novelist and a former Navy SEAL named Don Mann. It is comprised of 6 books in total which were published between the years 2012 and 2016. The debut book of this series is titled as ‘Hunt the Wolf’. This book was published in 2012 by the Mulholland publishers. Author Mann has provided the real life details about the military operations of the SEAL commandos through the novels of this exciting series. It is believed by the critics that the details that author Mann has described in the series can be given by a true insider only. It goes on to showcase the level of expertise that author Mann has in the military operations from his time as a SEAL commando. The central character that he has described in this book series is known as Thomas Crocker, who is depicted as the leader of the commandos of the Team Six of the Navy SEALs. Author Mann has set the plot of this book in Mexico and Pakistan and has once again featured the lead character as Thomas Crocker. For giving deep insights into the operation of the Team Six, author Mann collaborated with Ralph Pezzullo. At the start of this book, it is depicted that a senator’s teenage daughter and wife get kidnapped. After this, Thomas Crocker and his men from the SEAL Team are asked to reach the lawless countryside of Mexico. The federal agents in Mexico are known to work in a more defensive mode. They tend to take up a more protective approach instead of going for the hunting of the violent narcotic suppliers and the deadly drug kingpins. But, the men in the SEAL Team do not like to use this approach. They like to hunt instead of being hunted by the criminals. It is later learned by Thomas Crocker that the family members of the United States senator have been abducted by a notorious drug lord named Jackal. He is known to be a powerful and influential man. He has attempted plastic surgery on his face in order to disguise his opponents and prevent the military personnel from catching him. With the help of his technological approach, the Jackal carries out his brutal methods of illegal activities as well as runs the drug empire of the Machiavellian group. The Jackal intends to bring out a social revolution through politics. He is joined by another important member of the SEAL Team named Mancini from the Black Cell. The two go on to deal with the Chinese diplomats in Las Vegas. The diplomats, who posed as businessmen, hack the power company in Nevada and cause complete darkness in Las Vegas. After that, they set a famous hotel on fire and escape. Thomas attempts to track the businessmen with the help of his team and Mancini. They find themselves in yet another geopolitical situation involving the governments of other countries. But once again, they show a great deal of expertise and come out of the difficulties.
