It was this love of the written word that would lead her into her adult career as an author of romance novels, successfully selling to scores of readers worldwide. Taking her time to join a number of different writing groups, she has been able to find her own voice over the years, allowing her now loyal audience to experience something somewhat different with her work.
Getting into the minds of her characters, she has always been an astute writer who’s able to inhabit those who she is writing about, which makes them far easier to relate to. Brought out on the 5th of August, 2013, this was to be the third installment in the Tryst Island series from author Sabrina York, continuing its theme of steamy passions arising. With her usual mixture of wit and romance, the narrative offers her readers a sense of escapism, as they know what they’re getting with this title. Self-aware in a way not many other authors are, she’s provides her readers with what they want, whilst also keeping just enough back, ensuring for a pleasant set of twists and turns that will keep them guessing till the very end.
Featuring Bella Cross this time, it shows how unbridled passion for the dominant male figure of Holt Lamm has been maintained since college and never let-up. Whilst she’s somewhat frightened by his somewhat fiery energy, she comes closer to him after he finds her smoking and decides to distract her by spending the night with her. This affair soon spreads out though as she finds herself exploring herself in ways that she never actually previously thought to be at all possible. Will they become an item? Can she get over his past? What will become of smoking Holt?
Whipped
Brought out on the 19th of August, 2014, this was to be part of the ‘Brought to His Knees Anthology’, that were compiled around the theme of unbridled passion. It offers more of the ever intoxicating style that Sabrina York has come to offer her readers over the many years of her now highly successful career. Showing a clear and confident writer well within her element, it manages to maintain the pace and tone of much of her previous output, keeping her many readers both new and old hooked for its duration.
