Into the Stars is the first book in the Rise of the Republic series written by James Rosone. Science fiction meets fantasy and brings along with it echoes of the works of Arthur C. Clarke in a fascinating story that will have you grabbing a beverage and settling down to enjoy this story as it transports you away.
Humanity has always been able to get close to the stars, but they’ve never been quite ready for the thing that awaits them out there. If it were just them, it’d be no problem. But sometimes when you venture out into the void, you end up finding out that it’s just chock full of things that you don’t want to deal with.
The human race made it to the moon and then Mars, colonizing both with flying colors. The asteroid belts play home to the pirates, but there’s a society coalescing together in the depths of space that is starting to do quite well for itself.
People are also getting ready to go on the mission to colonize Alpha Centauri. The ambitious plan is already starting to take shape. It’s fairly straight-forward, but then a probe discovers that there is also a planet similar to Earth that is only 12 light-years away from Earth’s Sun.
The probe also finds something else while it is out there that is pretty out of the ordinary. A new mission is put together and a space fleet is also composed, while humanity begins figuring out the biggest mystery that they have ever encountered: where life started from.
There are a lot of different factions on the planet that may be pulled apart by a new threat. Can the foes that used to exist fade into old ways thanks to a shaky peace? Can the human race handle going out into the great unknown and facing down what’s out there? Read the debut story in the Rise of the Republic series by James Rosone to catch all of the adventure and get those answers!
Into the Battle is the second book in James Rosone’s Rise of the Republic series. If you love a good yarn and enjoy anything with humans and space, this is a great story for you. It’s also a great continuation of the first story in the series as they are meant to be read in order.
The human race got out there, did its thing, and accidentally woke up a monster. Now they’ve got to put all of their animosities to the side while dealing with fighting off going extinct. The origins of human history mean that things start to slowly fall apart as Earth starts to understand that there might be other intelligent life out there.
Could humans really not be alone in the universe? Human beings now understand that humans are actually out there and on different planets. It’s quite the thing to find out, and now the human race has more questions than ever and they are not necessarily getting the answers that they want.
Humanity may have found New Eden, but now they have discovered that there are also others out there who were waiting for them. The new alien race is referred to as The Zodarks, and the human race now has to deal with the fact that they have a new thing to deal with existentially. They also naturally are wondering about their own survival.
People now have a shot at finding out more about how they originated. Are they going to be able to handle everything that they find out? Are they also going to be able to put together the type of forces that they need?
The human race wants to set humans free and take over a different alien world. They have no idea how well the aliens can fight back. Are they won the right or the wrong side of history this time? Pick up a copy of the second installment of the Rise of the Republic series to find out.
