This book focuses on a family of Chinese-British time travelers as they look for connections over national and time borders.

There is a love out there somewhere, lost in the middle of time. The good news is that they have all of eternity to try and track it down.

The Wang family are not like other families. They are actively hiding a secret, which just so happens to be the fact that they all can time travel. One day Lily and Joshua take leave to go to the past, but they never end up coming back.

Their kids, Eva and Tommy, must deal with the fact that they simply don’t have parents anymore. Eva deals with her grief and tries to find out what she is doing in the present moment. Meanwhile, Tommy is going deeper in to the past where he hopes that he can find out the truth.

Tommy didn’t plan on falling for a woman who comes from Chinatown in London in the 1930s, he may just find out that the lack of being able to deal with his own history may end up affecting the people who are actually able to give him happiness.

This is an emotional story that is full of hope and flows through different decades and over continents, all told through wonderful prose. This is a strong debut from Pim Wangtechawat that may only prove to be the first of many wonderful stories from this talented author.
