Hope everyone had a good reading month. Book Notification continues to take up so much of my time work wise but I enjoy it and what we are creating there.
Still making sure to get as much reading time as I can in though! And occasionally, a book hooks me to the point that it takes over my life and I always love that.
Here’s what I read last month….
Capture or Kill by Don Bentley: The latest Mitch Rapp novel, and the first one written by Don Bentley. This one was a BIG change from Vince and Kyle, and it took me a bit to get adjusted to his style. It was so vastly different – the way every conversation would stop to have a big backstory to it.
But I ended up loving it, and I could tell he was passionate about the Rapp universe, and I’m really looking forward to reading more.
Edge of Madness by Kyla Stone: The second full length novel in her survivalist series after an EMP Attack. I enjoyed the first one but I LOVED this one. It’s all about a community dealing with it and I really enjoy that much more than two people trying to survive.
I followed it up with Edge of Darkness, the next in the series. Will likely finish that series this month.
A Talent for Murder by Peter Swanson: The third in his Lily Kintner series. Absolutely loved this one. Peter is such a fantastic writer and I highly recommend him if you like thrillers. He doesn’t go at a fast pace but I think his writing style is wonderful, and this was one of the best books I’ve read by Peter. Listened to it.
If Something Happens To Me by Alex Finlay: Listening to this one currently. Almost done and really enjoying it. A very solid mystery and it already gave me one jaw-dropping moment.
