November 2018: Books I Read Last Month

What a disappointing month for me when it comes to reading.
I’m honestly blown away with how little I read. I read exactly TWO books.
Not sure why that was. I mean I went to Dallas, Texas early in the month and that disrupted my life somewhat. Fun trip BTW. I was reading a book my mum recommended – What She Knew by Gilly MacMillan and I really wasn’t enjoying it.
Honestly it was probably the first time I stopped reading during a flight. Usually I love to read a book during a flight and a trip and then I associate that book with that trip/flight when I think about it. But this time I got tired of it and threw on my iPad to watch some TV instead.
I struggled with it and finally finished it around mid-month. So I started the new Mitch Rapp book.
Not sure what it was – but usually when it comes to Rapp, it becomes attached to me. I go to the bathroom? My kindle goes with me. I have 5 minutes to spare while cooking? Grab the Kindle.
Not so this month. Really not sure what it was but I just wasn’t feeling the reading at all. Which is annoying because I have at least 20 books sitting on my Kindle that I feel are “must reads” and I’m aching to read them.
Oh well it is what it is. Hopefully I get more reading done over the next little while.
I think part of the reason is all the sports that are in action actually. I should probably go back and look at past Octobers as NHL is back, NBA is back, NFL is back and I watch golf, soccer, CFL, UFC and much more. So that’s probably the reason ha.
Oh well – you guys read anything this month? Let me know the best book you read in October in the comments!
