The diverse cast adds a lot of character to the story, and it is intriguing how they interact with Noble in different situations. Noble Intentions: Episode 2 is the second book in the Noble Intentions series. In this book, Jack Noble has two missions to complete. One is for his client, and the other one is purely personal. Noble has been contracted to work on a case involving an agency, so covert the FBI doesn’t know of its existence. The second case concerns the botched deal with the East Coast crime lord. Noble is determined to complete it and get the only woman he always vowed to protect. Working close to top covert operatives earns Noble a few friends. However, he knows all too well that to survive in this industry, you have to keep your enemies close and always keep a close eye on the people you consider friends.

This story is set in Paris, with all its Lights, among other attractions. Despite all the great sceneries, a few bad guys are going to lose their lives and not in any good way. Through his efforts, Noble will assist his employer in recovering documents stolen through corrupt government officials. While most of the action takes place in France, the author also leads the reader to Russia, Washington, D.C., and New York City. Apart from Jack Noble, you will also get to meet other intriguing characters that include Jasmine, Bear, Clarissa, and Jasmine. All of them play a part or two is building the tension and exposing Noble’s strengths and weaknesses.

This is yet another action-packed episode that will leave your heart pounding. Just like the first episode, this story is centered on Noble, a protagonist that you will hate to love despite his weaknesses. The stakes are higher in this second book, which can only mean that the action is also grander, and the pace will leave you breathless. Follow Noble as he completes one tense mission after another.
