Nicole Ellis is a published author known for writing cozy mysteries and romance stories.

She resides in the state of Washington and enjoys writing stories set in small towns on the coast. She was a tax accountant but began to realize that penning romances or writing a mystery was more fun. Nicole switched over to writing novels and has not looked back!0

Nicole is married and lives with her husband and their two children as well as their pet cats. She has always been a lover of animals and knew from an early age that part of her life would involve working with animals. Nicole had a passion for animals at a young age, growing up frequently riding horses and enjoying the family pets that always seemed to be around. She never had a fear of animals and would be the one always volunteering to hold a big snake or to go up to a cheetah and get a better look.

Nicole would pursue her love of animals by studying animal training along with some of the top trainers in the world. Along the way, she picked up what it’s like to work with different animals. From exotic animals like large cats and bears to regular house animals like cats and dogs, she became familiar with them all. Nicole eventually realized that when it comes to being a trainer, her personal mission was best expressed by training other people so that they could get a deeper bond going with their own pets through understanding and positive training as she believes that happier pets are achieved by having owners that are happy. Nicole hopes that these efforts will result in fewer pets being surrendered or turned loose.

Nicole Ellis knows about the love and the joy that a rescue pet can bring to you! She adopted her dog Maggie from a shelter. Maggie is now part of the team as the official ambassador for animal training. Maggie has even taken a star turn and has been cast in a variety of commercials and has even worked in movies. She is a smart and well-trained dog that has mastered over 100 behaviors. She regularly has performed on television, as part of fundraisers for charity, and for patients at hospitals.

Nicole Ellis is the creator and author of the Candle Beach series of fictional novels. The series first began in 2017 with the release of the debut novel, Sweet Beginnings. This was followed by the second installment of the series, titled Sweet Success. Dahlia is the main character in this book, and she is now charged with handling the estate of her aunt now that she has sadly passed away. It’s bittersweet to be the one taking on this task. On one hand, she spent so much time as a child hanging out in that town, spending her summers there and making some very fond memories. On the other hand, it’s not as simple as she thought it would be.

Dahlia expected to spend two days tops settling the estate. Instead she discovers the house is practically falling apart and the bookstore that her aunt owned is on its way to complete failure. It looks like settling this thing quick and easy is not an option. Meanwhile, there’s a trustee trying to block Dahlia from selling the inheritance her aunt gave her. Then there’s the difficult Garrett. He may be her neighbor and he may be handsome, but that doesn’t mean that he’s not occasionally making things more difficult for her.

Dahlia doesn’t see how Candle Beach could ever be her home again the way things are, but is that destined to change? Spending more time there, she starts to admit that Candle Beach is maybe having an impact on her quality of life. As Dahlia starts to see herself change in positive ways that she really likes but never anticipated, she finds herself starting to like being in Candle Beach.
