Natalie Walters is a Carol Award-winning novelist from Hawaii who has been married to a military man for the better part of 22 years.

She currently makes her home in Texas, where she lives with her husband and is a proud mother of three adult children.

In addition to her novels, she has been a blogger for “Guideposts Online” and has published several articles in “Proverbs 31” magazine.

Natalie published “Living Lies” her debut work of fiction in 2019 and this would spawn the “Harbored Secrets” series of novels.

Outside of her writing, she is passionate about supporting law enforcement and military veterans through races, volunteer work, and novels that affirm that one should not be defined by their past.
She also loves to hang out with family, travel the world, drink tea, and connect with her fans on social media, where she shares her love for cooking, traveling, and books.

Walters was raised in New Mexico and as a child, she loved spending any time she could at the Erna Fergusson Library away from the desert heat. At home, she used to curl up with her stuffed animals and often spent hours reading her books.
While she loved reading when she was growing up, life would take over as she grew older. When she got married, she became too busy and reading became a luxury as she spent most of her time raising her children.

She used to read to her children but did not have time to read for herself but as they grew more independent with age, she finally had some free time and once again started reading.

Natalie was on a plane when she began reading Christian fiction which so enthralled her, that she began seeking out more books of that kind. One day while reading a very interesting work, it occurred to her that maybe she could pen one herself.
She had always loved reading stories with great plots that weep one into the pages, full of dynamic characters and themes of trust, hope, courage, and faith and hence it was no wonder that she penned novels with very similar attributes.

As for her private life, Natalie Walters fell in love with a soldier who would then become her husband. Together, they have three kids who are now adults who visit them from time to time.
She has often said that military life and motherhood have been instrumental in the writing of her novels.

They have taught her that the best way to experience adventure is to have your loved ones by your side and hence she decided to pour all that excitement, chaos, and humor into her stories.
As a military wife with friends and family in a variety of law enforcement agencies, she had gotten good insights into the workings of localized crime and large-scale government plots.
From there, she finds resources that help her come up with some fun plot twists and storylines.

The fact that she has been a military wife for at least twenty-five years means she knows all about communities of friendship, which she often includes in her stories.

Natalie Walter’s novel “Lights Out” is a riveting work that tells the story of Jack Hudson and Brynn Taylor.

The latter is an analyst with the CIA who came up with a new program to combat terrorism. Thereafter, she invited people from various intelligence agencies to use it to foster cooperation.
One of these people was Remon Riad, an Egyptian spy who has inexplicably gone missing.

On the other hand, Jack Hudson has spent almost a decade with the “Strategic Neutralization and Protection Agency” and now takes the lead in tracking down the Egyptian spy. However, he hates that Brynn is involved as she has once betrayed him.
Every lead they find just draws them even deeper into an international plot. Soon they have to deal with explosions, murder, poisoning, and kidnapping as terrorists are determined to blind a strategic military center to achieve their dark goals.
Will Brynn give up control to Jack who does not trust her? And will Jack ever get over her betrayal?
The fate of their hearts and the entire world is hanging in the balance.

“Fatal Code” by Natalie Walters is a work set in 1964 featuring some very prominent nuclear scientists.

“The Los Alamos Five” is a group of scientists who were about to make a breakthrough in a nuclear energy project for the American government when they were disbanded under unclear circumstances.

One of these scientists had a granddaughter who was an aerospace engineer named Elinor Mitchell. She has recently found some sensitive information about the project her father had been working on and soon realized that she had a target on her back.
On the other hand, is Kekoa Young, a former Navy cryptologist and SNAP agent who has been charged with keeping track of Elinor. It is an easy task to do as he lives next to her in a Washington DC suburb and also inconvenient, as he likes her too.
Following the clues left behind in her father’s papers, Kekoa steps in to help her and in doing so reveals what he had been doing.

When Elinor discovers that he has been stalking her, he is crushed but has to trust the man to keep her discoveries from falling out of the hands of her enemies.

In Natalie Walters’s novel “Blind Trust,” we are introduced to Lyla Fox and Nicol Garcia.

The former works at the SNAP Agency where she is known for being very impulsive. But then she gets a letter threatening her for putting him in prison and she is determined to find out why he is only targeting her.
Unfortunately, the only person who can help her is the one who has always questioned her reckless choices more than any other person she knows.

Nicol Garcia is a weapons and explosive specialist who agrees to help Lyla and ensure her safety but the major concern is her recklessness, particularly when a target is put on her back when she starts investigating a conspiracy.
Bombs have always been dangerous to work with, but working with Lyla seems to be just as treacherous to both his heart and his mission.

It makes for a nail-biting story of an unlikely couple and a deadly government conspiracy that will leave you breathless.
