Using the inheritance bequeathed to her by Josiah Cady, a family friend, she aims to start her studio, something which is then threatened by someone claiming to Josiah’s son. That’s when she finds her life put in danger, as there are gold nuggets apparently hidden within the house, as she is left with nowhere to turn. Will she be able to quell the man’s anger? Can she claim what’s truly hers? What will become of Josiah’s treasure?
