Made in Montana is a book series by Debbi Rawlins. The series is a standalone when it comes to contemporary romance. It has appealing characters and conflicts. The whole series creates a convincing and a layered story. The series was inspired by Debbi`s love for Westerns in movies and books. She fell in love with a cowboy which translated to an intriguing book series. The story starts at Sundance Dude Ranch in Blackfoot Falls, Montana. The reader is immersed into activities like horseback riding, rodeos, guides hikes and other cowboy activities. Barefoot Blue Jean, the first series in Made in Montana, lays a good foundation. It was published in 2012. Jamie Daniels, a travel blogger sees an advert for Sundance Dude Ranch featuring the McAllisters rugged brothers. She could not resist booking. She longed for a week of fresh air and scenery. The getaway was welcoming now that all her friends are married. She also wanted to see and interact with the hot boys in the ranch. She cherished the experience especially seeing Cole McAllister. She meets Cole who always appeared reluctant in playing host to hordes of ogling women. This time things were different, his reluctance is conspicuously absent. He plans to give Jamie a cowboy experience which will linger in her mind forever. Within the story there is a feud with a neighbor, something that will escalate in the coming episodes. The mystery and a chemistry between Cole and Jamie offers a great start to the series.

Own the Night is the second book in Made in Montana book series. This book is also published in 2012. The reader is welcomed to the Sundance Dude Ranch where cowboys are hot and the town sheriff is even better. Sheriff Noah Calder has been a site to see for women visiting the ranch. Alana Richardson is a sales marketing executive in desperate need for a vacation. Her luggage ends up stolen and her identity comes into question. She is under a very close surveillance of Sheriff Noah. She appears to be suspiciously sexy to Noah who tries to control himself from searching her. Alana has to prove that she is not a bad guy. But she might have to be a little bad to convenience Noah. The characters, the setting and ending of this book is captivating. The story-line is interesting and unique.

The 3rd, Made in Montana series provides two books namely; On a Snowy Christmas Night and Any Man of Mine. Both of them were published in 2012. The book, On a Snowy Christmas Night features Jesse McAllister. He is a cowboy returning to the Montana countryside after serving in the air force. This time Sundance Dude Ranch doesn’t feel like home anymore. On the other side, Shea Monroe is desperate to escape from her parents and usual settings. The ranch offers a safe haven especially for a loner like her. The arrival of Shea Monroe changes the home experience for Jesse. It takes only one night to ignite the attraction between them. They have no choice but to give in. The series gets better and better by providing a pleasant, fast and relaxing romance. This romantic experience of a socially inept chick who lives in her head is very unique story. This book is subsequently followed by Any Man of Mine, a story about Josh Evans and the city girls. Sundance ranch has been a destination for city girls seeking an experience with cowboys. John Evans does not date guests. But today things are different. Haley, a beautiful and soft spoken woman checks in. Josh knows he`s going to have trouble in keeping his promise. However, Haley appears to be interested in Montana`s scenery and not its men. After putting up with boys who are crazy with guests, she is ready to fly back to New York. Josh has to convince her that there is one cowboy who is worth an extended vacation.

You Are Still The One is the 4th book in Made Montana Series, published in 2013. Its romance on a new day, a birthday. Today is Rachel McAllister’s birthday. She has turned her family`s struggling ranch into a Sundance Dude Ranch. There one man he`s always wanted, but could never have. But today she is about to receive a priceless present. Matt Gunderson is back in town. This is the boy who broke her teenage heart. Their families have also been at war for years. Matt is off from the rodeo and Rachel has few weeks to find out if the chemistry is still there. She finally tastes the forbidden which turns to be the best birthday present ever. Debbi Williams takes another dramatic and romantic approach in book 5 namely, No One Needs to Know. This book was published in the same year. This time the story is about a wealthy ranch owner and an online woman. Tucker Brennan sees Annie Sheridan`s photo on a website, a woman who let his brother take a fall in an embezzlement scheme. Tucker is now on his way to Safe Haven animal shelter to find out what really happened. Annie Sheridan seems to forget why she disappeared. This is because of the current struggles at the shelter. Tucker shows up and offers a donation. This appears to be a breakthrough for Annie. There`s one heck of attraction within a cloud of secrets and lies. These two individuals give up themselves to lust.

The 6th book in the series is titled, “From This Moment On”, published in 2013. There appears to be something new for Trace McAllister, a lady magnet cowboy. He has seen many gorgeous women while at Sundance Dude Ranch. But the sight of sexy little Nikki Flores makes him curious. Nikki has spent time in Blackfoot Falls long enough. The last thing she needs is to get tied down with a man. But it takes one moment for the temptation to take over. This is a great story about a boisterous female from a humble background and a cowboy. This is a rare setting in romantic stories. Debbie William takes another leap into the Made in Montana series. Alone With You was published the following year as the 7th book. Lexy Worthington asks her father for a job after years of rebellion. She is required to find a rodeo star for a promotional calendar. The perfect candidate appears to be a bareback rider, Will Tanner. His career appears to be declining. His hotness offers him a chance. Lexy has no choice but to drag him to Houston. He is going to make it hard for her. This journey from hell turns into a romantic expedition. Tanner is in for an inescapable ride. This quick read is enchanting and has fascinating characters.

Need You Know is the 8th book in the series. The author touches a rare and a most intriguing romantic story. Debbie unveils the events involving a romance between a pastor`s daughter and a bad boy. Melanie Knowles is a pastor’s daughter and a good girl of Blackfoot Falls. She is an outstanding member of the community being a teacher and an animal shelter volunteer. Goods girls are never naughty but Melanie seems to be in trouble after laying her eyes on Lucas Sloan. Hard body and blue eyes are enough to turn Melanie into a satisfied sinner. Lucas offers to help out in a Wild Horse Training Program at the Safe Haven animal shelter. The magnetism between him and the teacher appears to be intense. Lucas has secrets which will ruin Melanie`s reputation if the town finds out about his sexy little trysts. This romance meshed well with the rescue farm is very realistic and intriguing. It is a perfect story for a western town romance. In the 9th book, Behind Closed Doors depicts a story about a woman who ditches a successful career to move to Montana. Beth Wilson embarks on renovating a run-down boarding house. Much of her building supplies are sent to a ranch owner, Nathan Landers. He wants to devote his time in running the ranch. But Beth appears to be a serious distraction. This is a perfect story about a sexy and a secretive boy looking for romance and an easy friendship

Anywhere With You is the 10th book for Made in Montana series, published in 2015. The story is about getting in bed with the law. Grace Hendrix is the new deputy in Blackfoot Falls. Ben Wolf has been away for 15 years. He is given a speeding ticket for driving fast. But he is no longer the angry troublemaker he used to be. On the other hand, Grace is in no mood to be sweet talked by a sexy stranger. She has to be smart and stay out of trouble if she wants to be the next Sheriff. However, this stranger seems irresistible. It’s a matter of time before she goes rogue. This is a great romantic story between a prodigal son and a woman with career aspirations.
