If you’re looking for a fun thriller with all of the digital technology of today, you cannot go wrong with this book! Check out the story that Rupert Holmes calls ‘Bridget Jones […] in a Scream film’ and that best-selling author Amy Tintera calls ‘fast-paced’ and ‘great fun’!

This is a romantic comedy that is all about a young woman who accidentally finds that she is being thought of as a serial killer and must try to find out who the real killer is before the wedding of her best friend goes on.

Main character Gwen Turner can look at her life and admit that she’s made a horrible mess of everything. She was dating the best man that she has ever known for reasons that she cannot admit and now that’s over, so she’s got to leave it behind.

Gwen even quit a job that was paying the bills in order to open up a coffee shop that she can run. So there’s a lot going on. Then there is her best friend, who has decided to get married. Now she’s leaving her friend behind to be single all on her own.

Gwen has to do something to deal with the empty space in her life now, and something more than just watching horrible reality television and drinking affordable wine. Gwen turns to the dating app, where she looks through the eligible men that are close to her.

She fills the time by going out on various dates, which all seem to end in some form of disaster. Then things start really going wrong when a line of murders is carried out in the small English city on the coast. Gwen is shocked when she sees the victims and realize that they all do in fact have something in common: they all went on a date with her.

Gwen has no idea why this is happening, but she does know that when it comes to the spree of the serial killer, she’s public suspect number one. She’s got to clear her name and show that she didn’t do it if she wants to rest easy knowing that she’s not going to court for a crime that she’s never even committed.

Determined to get this all cleared up, Gwen decides to look for the dates that she has been with that have still survived to try and find out what’s going on. Can she help to catch a killer, or will she find that it’s simply too late? Read this book to find out!

Everyone in the Group Chat Dies is the second novel from L.M. Chilton. If you have been looking for a fun new book to read that is up to date and full of humor, you’re going to want to check out this thriller. Get a copy for yourself and find out why people like Rupert Holmes are calling this story ‘murderously clever’ and ‘laugh-out-loud funny’ (Katy Brent).

Kirby Cornell is the main character in this story, and she’s a young woman that is dying to take a break from everything. This includes her small flat in Crowhurst, a sleepy town that is known for its sausage rolls and a serial killer in the nineties.

It also includes her job, which is going nowhere, her landlord, who she doesn’t trust, her housemates who are all slobs, and the terrible thing that they have all done. Oops!

However, that part of things has not been catching up with her just yet, which is good. But then there is new cause to worry for Kirby when their old group chat has a new message pop up. The message says that everyone in the group chat will die.

It’s not the best news to get for everyone. It is also the text that her former flatmate and aspiring social media detective Esme has sent out for a long time. That might not be the strangest thing about this circumstance, however.

The strangest thing about this circumstance is that Esme passed away about twelve months ago. So if she is sending the text, then she either has come back from the grave or someone is posing as her for some odd reason. Or there is some other strange factor that they haven’t thought of, such as the phone becoming possessed by a ghost or strange electrical energy working its magic.

No one knows what happens except for the reader, so you’ve got to get a copy of this book! Full of thrills and twists and even some laughs along the way, Everyone in the Group Chat dies is a truly fun murder mystery that takes all of the comedy of the television show Friends and pairs it with the serial killer fun of movies such as I Know What You Did Last Summer.

Follow along with Kirby Cornell and find out what happens in this seriously funny book from L.M. Chilton. Great if you are a fan of television shows such as Scream Queens as well!
