Kortney Keisel is a bestselling romance fiction novelist who loves all things to do with romance.
She has often said that her family came to realize just how much she was devoted to romance when they caught her kissing the walls.

She believes that this very embarrassing happening was probably due to the fact that her mother was a huge fan of “Days of Our Lives” and similar soap operas which she used to religiously watch.
Kortney is fortunate that she outgrew that phase and her kisses are now only reserved for her husband. She spends most of her time writing her novels and taking care of her kids as a stay-at-home mother.
With five kids she has cooking, carpooling, and cleaning in addition to reading and writing which keep her very busy.

While Kortney Keisel has now become a renowned and very popular romance fiction author, writing books was never part of her life plan.

In her teenage years, she got an English degree from the University of Utah. She would then spend several years before she became a mother teaching seventh and eighth graders how to pen book reports and many other things.
Following a reading slump where she was to some point unsatisfied with the direction of her life, she decided to write. Keisel then pulled out her laptop and began to pen the perfect love story.

The manuscript for her debut novel “The Promised Prince” would take her at least four years to write. The reason for this is that she never planned on doing anything with it and hence she rarely worked on it.

She would ultimately publish her debut in 2020 and has never looked back since. She now has at least a dozen novels in several series to her name. She has also contributed to the “Christmas Escape” series of novels.
When Kortney Keisel is not penning her novels, she can often be found enjoying clever song lyrics, warm chocolate chip cookies, laughing with her husband, watching the perfect romance movie, traveling with her family, and playing card games.

Kortney Keisel’s novel “Compared” is an intriguing romance fiction work that tells the story of Meg and Tyler.

Meg has always wanted to be a mother and to get married but her hopes are dashed when her boyfriend whom she has been with for the longest time breaks up with her.

Getting dumped and having just recently lost her mother, she is heartbroken and is almost losing hope of having the type of life she dreamed of having all her life.

On his part, Tyler is not ready to date again but agrees to a blind date that his brother sets up. While the date is a total flop, that very night he meets someone that makes him feel that maybe he is ready for a relationship once again.
The only problem is that she happens to be the teacher to his son and she may just lose his job if she dates him. Meg thinks Tyler fits everything she has ever dreamed of but she cannot contemplate losing her job which she loves.
However, each time Tyler talks to her, she cannot decide which of her two dreams between the people she loves and her job is more important.

It is a wholesome and sweet novel and Kortney writes a fluffy romance that also delves into deep topics such as grief after losing loved ones.

“Complex” by Kortney Keisel has to be one of the most intriguing novels of “The Sweet Rom “Com”” series of novels that tells the story of Tessa.

Ever since she was in her teenage years and learned that she would never have kids, she decided to focus on her job and find success in her career.

She has recently come across an opportunity to get a huge promotion at her place of work. The only thing she needs to do is ensure that the opening of the Turks and Caicosin town is delayed.

This will not be an easy thing to do as she will need to deal with the handsome, grumpy, and moody contractor. They could not be any more different and now they have to co-exist for two months.

While she does all she can to ensure the hotel is not opened on time, she is also fighting her intense chemistry with Luke. Deep inside, she knows that every single lie could be detrimental to what she believes could be the relationships she wants.
Luke and Tessa’s relationship is a cute one as they begin as enemies and always have witty remarks about each other.

While they make each other’s lives a nightmare they soon turn into enemies that feel for each other as they try to hide their feelings which results in some hilarious moments.

Kortney Keisel’s novel “Complete” is a work that tells the fascinating romance story of Ben and Brooke. They have been just friends and every so often have tried to be more than that but it never worked since the chemistry was just not there.
But that is just the story Brooke tells everyone as she often pines hard for Ben. She does not know what happened between them as all of a sudden, just a casual touch from him is like fire and he can stop her heart with just his easy smile.
The problem is Ben has permanently banished her to the friend zone. Recently, Ben and his supermodel girlfriend tried to set her up with a friend of theirs who was a professional football player.

She knows that she needs to bury her feelings for Ben but the pro athlete is not the way she is going to banish her infatuation.

But the man is not making things easy as she has become more flirty and touch, which is the worst thing when she is trying to move on with her life.

What is Brooke to do? Should she keep on pretending and risk ending up with a man she does not love or should she risk losing her best friend by confessing her feelings?
