Kate Pearce was born and raised in England and is a part of a large family which is mainly made up of girls. It did not take long, for Kate to realize that her imagination was much more interesting than life itself. After attaining her Master’s degree, in History and even surviving the ordeals of civil service, Kate moved to California, together with her spouse. While in California, Kate decided to reset herself as a writer of romance. Kate Pearce is widely known for her conventional heroes and also for her joy and love of subverting the romantic clichés of whom gets to bed with who. During her free time, Kate not only writes but also self-publishes her very own historical romance, science fiction romance and anything else that she can think of. Kate also writes for Carina Press and Signet Eclipse.
Simply Sinful
Simply Sinful is the third book in the House of Pleasure book series. This book begins as Peter who was among the main characters in the previous installment is still nursing his wounds from his lovers and best friend rejection. Peter hooks up with James who is not only gay but also has darker tastes. His wife, on the other hand, his wife is more than determined to have a baby. James wife, Abigail has a healthy relationship with his wife; however, sex has been an issue in the relationship. After more than 16 years of marriage, Abigail now wants a kid. Due to the failure in their sexual life, James invites Peter and his wife over for sexual lessons. However, apart from the sexual lessons, James also wants to be sexually involved with Peter. Abigail and Peter become close friends because they understand each other more than anyone else.
They in turn begin to explore Abigail’s glooming sexuality. After getting comfortable, they decide to involve James into the equation. All in all, this story is more than just about sex. Peter is constantly trying to find answers about his family. This is something that has been constantly running in his mind. The relationship between Peter and Val has also been highlighted in the book. Peter has to learn about himself before he can be able to learn how to love someone else. Peter and Val do not get touchy and intimate in this book. With that said, Abigail is an exceedingly interesting character. As it is the case with the case with most human relationships officers, Abigail was not sexually aggressive. Peter was also a great character though he was somehow self-destructive. His responses were more natural. James on the other hand was extreme.
Simply Wicked
Like all the books in this series, this book is dedicated to individuals who have an open mind and also are willing to accept alternatives to relationships. Pearce specialty in this series has shown that not every relationship should be monogamous. She has brought to light a road, which is travelled by a few, thus giving them something to read and feel great about. Simply Wicked is a great book and the main theme in this book is submissiveness. In this book, we are introduced to Anthony, an exceedingly successful man who is unhappy with the manner in which his life is turning into. Thus, he wants a change. Despite the fact that he tells his friends and close associates that he is unhappy with his life, none of them believes him.
Another character whom the author introduces is Margarita. Ever since she lost her husband, she became very lonely. Christian, Margarita’s half-brother, has heard that Antony was keen on having change in his life. Thus, Anthony comes up with an idea that Anthony should escort her half-sister Margareta around and also help move on with her life. In the beginning, Antony was a little bit hesitant. Since no one believes that he wanted to make a change, Anthony decides to prove everyone wrong. When the two meet, they instantly become attracted to one another.
Simply Forbidden
This is the sixth installment in this series. An exceedingly delicious historical romance novel will undoubtedly leave you begging for more. Beyond any reasonable doubt, such novels will explore the naughtier sides of the Regency England with wicked eloquence. The exceptional writing skills of the author are something that you are going to enjoy in this novel. By using her style of writing, the author manages to create a world of the high society. The author uses an eloquent description of scenes. She manages to create a wonderfully set atmosphere. You will love the juxtaposition within the society that she has created. Apart from the dirty secrets that every person tried to hide, there was also overlying hypocrisy. All the characters in this book were very likable and also exceedingly appealing.
All of them had dark pasts, which in turn created the feeling of inadequacy. While one of the characters, Lissette was trying to accept who she was, all her desires were unfettered. Another great character in the series is Gabriel, who is not only determined to keep his nose clean but also his head down. In the past, he was once captured and held as a prisoner for many years. Irrespective of everything that he went through, he was still labeled as a traitor upon his return. All in all, this is an excellent read which is full of emotional and erotic romance. All this did hold an control of realism, which in turn prevented the book from being exceedingly romantic.
Simply Insatiable
In Simply Insatiable, the reader is introduced to one Blaize Minshom whom has just been turned into an outcast. This is after his association with one Sokorvosky came to an end. Everyone was aware that his whipping badboy had left him and instead opted for a woman. Simply Insatiable is quite an emotional read with numerous sub stories in between. One of the sub stories in this novel is that about Captain David, a character that we have been reading about from the very first installment. This is an excellent read that will keep you entertained.

I would like to know if there is a book about Jackson Lymond, that would follow the story of The Rancher (Cauy Lymond) and possibly the bartender Nancy? I just do not want to leave Morgan Valley. Hopefully, Margit
