Kate Forster is a bestselling fiction author of young adult romance, general romance, and general fiction works. She has now developed a reputation for writing novels about women who are remarkable in sometimes ordinary and extraordinary lives.
Before she became a fiction author, Kate worked as an actor and jazz singer and in advertising. At some point, she wisened up and decided to make use of her imagination not just to make plans to take out her enemies but for good.
Everything kicked off as some form of lark. She was trying to pen a story for her best friend and was surprised that this would turn into a full-blown career that she would never think of giving up now.
She published “The Perfect Audition,” her debut novel in 2012, and has become one of the most popular authors today. Her biggest influences are the many authors she read when she was still a child which stayed with her.
As such, she will often try to recreate stories such as Scarlett O’Hara and many more from the likes of “Gone with the Wind,” which she read more than ten times when she was a teenager.
She now has more than twenty-two novels to her name and has given no indication that she will slow down any time soon. She now writes every day regardless of schedule or weather.
Forster is now a full-time novelist and spends most of her day writing her novels or marketing them. She will now pen at least 1000 words every day or if not, she can usually be found editing whatever it is she wrote the previous day.
Her beverage of choice while she is writing is usually tea very early in the morning after which she then switches to coffee.
Much of the time, her brain works best in the morning but she sometimes gets a second wind in the evening and as such, she will oftentimes write from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm.
She finds most of the inspiration for her novels from stories she hears in everyday life and in magazine articles.
She never lets everything pass her by as she has her ear out listening for anything from gossip pages, legends, and myths, which can provide some very good inspiration for her novels.
Outside of her writing, she is an avid follower of fame, fashion and all things pop culture.
Kate Forster’s novel “The Perfect Location” is the story of three women who meet in Perugia to make for an interesting cocktail of events due to their life experiences.
The first one is an Australian actress named Rose Nightingale who is just coming from a very bad marriage.
She is now kinder, and older but does not have the happiness she craves. She is an archetype of Julia Roberts, who is now recovering from a terrible marriage and divorce.
The next woman is Sapphira De Mont who is nursing a broken heart and hiding a secret addiction. She is a popular, confident, and beautiful woman, who is something of an archetype of Angelina Jolie.
The last woman is a young star named Calypso Gable who is fleeing from a manager’s clutches and her mother’s too. Calypso is an innocent young woman but seems to be too naive and good to survive in such a conniving and complex world.
When the three women meet in the Italian city of Perugia while working on The Italian Dream the tearjerker, they learn a lot about themselves and each other. They learn things about themselves that they would never in a hundred years ever imagined.
“The Perfect Christmas” by Kate Forster is an interesting young adult romance fiction work that will engross its readers from the first page to the last. It is a holiday short story that proves that love is not just for Christmas but sometimes true love is forever.
The leads in the novel are Maggie a Hollywood movie star and Zoe her manager and friend need to escape Los Angeles and their star-studded lives. With its Christmas charm and history, London does feel like the perfect getaway.
But will they be able to leave the realities of their life back in California behind?
In their luxurious residences in England, they bump into Holly. The latter is the best tour guide they could hope for, as she takes them around the best sounds and sights of London in their best light.
However, behind Holly’s bright facade, she is hiding a secret as she is looking for a Christmas miracle and unrequited love. When her new friends realize the pain of their new friend, they set out to try to make her love story come together.
Packed full of festive cheer, it is a beautiful and emotional story of some Hollywood starlets who despite their glamour strive to help their new friend get some well-deserved happiness.
Kate Forster’s novel “The Perfect Retreat” is another intriguing work in the “Perfect” series of novels.
This is a work full of scandal, secrets, and sex that is one of those titles that established Forster as one of the most interesting new voices in the new adult romance fiction genre.
The lead in the novel is British Oscar winner Willow Carruthers. The mother of three who is also a style icon is dealing with a series of major crises.
She has gone broke and has recently discovered that her partner had been unfaithful for a long time and subsequently made her a single mother. The worst thing of all is that she may be left homeless if the banks have their way.
In the meantime, Kitty who has been a nanny to her children is desperately hoping that she can keep her job.
She tells Willow that she knows of the perfect getaway – the “Middlemist House,” in the Bristol countryside, which happens to be her crumbling ancestral home.
The idea of fleeing Los Angeles seems brilliant to both women but then Merritt who is Kitty’s elder brother comes home unexpectedly.
From Los Angeles to London this is work full of intrigue, and scandal.
