KD Robichaux is a new adult romance, romantic suspense, and general romance novelist from Fayetteville, North Carolina. Her hometown was very near Ft. Bragg since her father was a navy man and insisted on living the typical military family lifestyle.
She grew up the only girl in her family and was younger than her three elder brothers by several years. In their later years, her brothers all joined the military and ended up serving in Texas.
Robichaux would also get married to a man in the military only to get divorced a few years later. Still, she has said that the failure of the marriage had nothing to do with her husband being a military man but the fact that she was too young.
She found herself stuck in Fayetteville and bored out of her mind, she accepted the invitation from her brothers to move to Texas. It was in Texas that she felt most at home as she was comfortable and identified with the community she lived in.
She grew closer to her siblings and started rebranding herself in several ways. Having spent much of her life in North Carolina it was refreshing to get some new perspective on life.
Robichaux hit the ground running when she landed in Texas. She enrolled in the Houston-based San Jacinto College, from where she graduated with a Business Technology degree.
It was during the time she was doing this that she met her current husband. She has said in various interviews that she had to go all the way south to Texas just to find a man that was not in the military.
Upon graduation, she got married and decided to become a stay-at-home mother as her career was put on the back burner. She then got two girls and gave them her all, ensuring they got everything they needed as children.
She has said that she always wanted to become an executive assistant and hence being a mother was a good use of her degree.
After her children were all grown up and independent, the desire to write came on strong once again. Robichaux started reviewing hot reads in a blog she was writing. This would eventually open a lot of doors.
When the kids went to school, she got a job as a full-time editor.
KD Robichaux would soon make friends with the many authors whose books she edited. Through talking with these authors, she usually told the story of the meeting with her husband.
Many often remarked that she needed to write a novel from the story. With so much encouragement, she decided to take the leap and started writing the manuscript for “Wished for You,” the debut novel of the “Blogger Diaries” series of novels.
But this was not her first rodeo as she had always dreamed of becoming an author since her preteen years. Aged 12, she had once picked one of the “Sandra Brown” titles that belonged to her mother, and she knew that there was nothing she wanted to do more than write novels.
While she was initially intimidated and never thought she could make it, she gained confidence over time with her novels becoming bestsellers. She now has more than a dozen novels to her name spread across several series and single-standing titles and collections of short stories.
“Before the Lie” by KD Robichaux introduces Corbin and Vi, exploring how they meet and ultimately fall in love.
Vi is a shy but very beautiful girl who has always found it difficult to fit in with the popular girls in her class. As such, she has somehow tuned into herself and spends much of her time rock climbing in the gym.
Given that she spends so much time doing the activity, there is no one better at rock climbing than her. For the first time in her life, her thin and tall frame is what she needs to excel.
Things turn interesting when Corbin and several of his soldier colleagues come to the school for a belaying lesson. He is a tough, sexy, and hot Army Specialist that is instantly attracted to Vi.
But what she does not know is that he is a man who comes with some very dark needs. They have instant chemistry and Corbin makes it clear that he has fallen for Vi.
He just loves watching her come out of her shell and become what any red-blooded man would desire. Still, she always has some trepidation and this just makes things all the spicier.
KD Robichaux’s novel “Truth Revealed” is set 10 years since Corbin divorced Vi as she found she had cheated while he was deployed. It has been a decade since he last spoke to the woman he believed was his soul mate, only to get stabbed in the heart.
He had gone into a dark place after the betrayal and over the following ten years, he had kept tabs on her from afar. In the meantime, he had won a Medal of Honor and two Purple Hearts and got an honorable discharge.
Out in the world, the only skill he has is how to kill and hence he joins a group of mercenaries that mete out justice. They punish criminals that hide behind high-powered fancy lawyers and always make it look like karma.
They find most of their victims from a long list of predators that are the clients of Dr. Walker, the founder of the group. He has plenty of work to do until Vi becomes a client of Dr. Walker and Corbin realizes that he has been living a lie for the past ten years.
“Seven” by KD Robichaux is a novel that tells the story of Seth Ownes.
He co-owns Club Alias and has reputation for taking full advantage of the endless women that come to his high-end establishment and throw themselves at him.
However, he has never let anyone get under the leather mask whether they could get to know the real him.
On the other hand, is the good girl Twyla Quill that had always been the responsible one and hence she has never had a relationship or enjoyed much of a life.
Twyla convinces her sister to abandon her abusive boyfriend and together they leave town and head across the United States to hide from the man who desperately wants her sister back.
But it is not long before they are running out of money and Twyla meets Seth a man willing to show her just how much she has been missing.
