Fast becoming a household name, she’s enjoyed a great deal of success with her work, which has included both fiction and non-fiction in the past. Always looking for the goodness in people and humanity, her work reflects this, with it being accessible to read, whilst leaving a lasting impression. Early and Personal Life:
Born and raised in American, Joanna Davidson Politano would grow up with a strong passion for the written word. Looking to express herself through literature, she’d always show a strong fascination for reading and writing. This would develop throughout the years, as she’d become an adept storyteller, honing and refining her craft as an author.
Continuing this passion during the course of her education, she’d learn the art-form, gradually establishing her own style as the years went on. This would set her apart as someone to watch, as she’d have a lot to say as an author, telling stories that truly resonated with her. Finding her voice, Politano became a writer to watch, as she spoke to readers in a personal and accessible manner.
It would also be her faith that came to inspire and inform her as a writer, something which could clearly be seen reflected in her work. Her love of story would also come to be a huge factor in her life as well, as both passions would feed one another. This would make for some highly positive and transformative writing, much of which would go on to be read the world over.
Living with her husband and their two children, she works from home whilst raising the family, all as she continues to write regularly. Homeschooling too, she keeps herself constantly busy, all whilst looking for new and bold ideas to inform her next story. This will carry on for a long time yet, as there’s plenty more novels planned in the following years to come.

Lady Jayne Disappears
This would be the debut novel where it all began for Joanna Davidson Politano, introducing her for the first time as a fully fledged writer. Published through the ‘Fleming H. Revell Company’ label, this would first come out in 2017 on the 3rd of October to much acclaim. Establishing the tone of her novels to follow, it was stand-alone, setting up the overall style giving readers an idea of what to expect in this historical Victorian novel.
Recently passing away in debtors prison, the father of Aurelie Harcourt is left his wealthy family, along with his secret pen-name; Nathaniel Droll. This sees her becoming a part of her new family, which they seem to resent, as she must also continue writing under the name of Droll in secret. Now looking into the truth behind her mother’s disappearance, she must also find out what caused the death of her father. Will she be able to uncover the truth behind it all? Can she keep up the pseudonym name of Droll? What happens when Lady Jayne disappears?
The Love Note
Coming out through the ‘Fleming H. Revell Company’ publishing imprint again, this would first be released in 2020 on the 20th of October. A completely stand-alone title, it would feature more of what readers had now come to know and love about Politano’s work. With a period setting as well, close attention has been paid to detail, with it being a well researched and equally well plotted story.
It’s the summer of 1859, and Willa Duvall has her whole world turned upside down following the discovery of an unopened love note hidden in her writing desk. Taking the position of nurse at Crestwicke Manor, a seaside estate, she hopes to track down the individual who wrote this passage of passion. Everybody there seems to have negative feelings towards the person then, after the letter is mislaid, it travels between different people, all of whom have their own interpretation, both positive and negative. Will she find the individual who actually wrote it though? Who were they really as a person? What is the truth behind the love note?
