Publication Order of Brotherhood Protectors World Books
Jesse Jacobson
Jesse Jacobson has been a professional writer since 1989 when he was editing and composing articles for monthly and weekly print publications and for web publications. Writing romance stories is a newer endeavor.
His very first published novel, Searching for Honor, went to number one on the Amazon KindleWorlds network and stayed there for three weeks. Most of his stories are part of the Brotherhood Protectors series and the Special Forces: Operation Alpha series.
There are a large number of novels in the two individual series and many different authors contribute to the whole series. The participating novels have a distinguishing stamp on the cover of the books indicating the series their characters are a part of.
The commonality of his stories have men and women who are or were in Navy SEALS or Armed Service Special Forces. The men are totally ripped, deliciously handsome, typically quiet, and very brave.
Of the three other HONOR novels available, the first is Protecting Honor: Special Forces: Operation Alpha. Honor Carpenter, an intelligent and lovely woman, has been emotionally scarred from her past. She’s been in therapy and her overprotective father has kept a watchful eye on her. Now she feels she is ready and desperate for a bit of independence. She’s also yearning for some love.
Alone and returning from her first solo road trip, she’s low on gas and the mountain area is fairly remote. The sun is setting, the temperature has already dropped to 25 degrees with the promise of dangerously cold temperatures over night. She can’t afford to run out of gas tonight.
The incoming snowstorm will likely leave her stranded in the middle of Central Washington. She gets to a gas station with an attached diner. It’s absolutely freezing and she’s having difficulty with the gas pump.
She keeps trying the machine but it won’t work for her. There’s a line of people behind her waiting for gas and one lug of a guy is highly impatient and is bullying and harassing her and making threats. He’s huge, mean, and obviously enjoys threatening the smaller woman.
This bullying is being observed and a young man decides to step in. He helps Honor by reducing the man to a whimpering fool who wisely gets back in his truck and leaves. For which Honor is so grateful.
Trevor Saunder, her rescuer, Matthew “Wolf” Steele and his wife Caroline are taking dinner in the diner. Trevor invites Honor to join them. She explains her situation to them and the three decide to come to Honor’s aid. Almost immediately the chemistry between Honor and Trevor is obvious and ignited.
Still at the diner, five dangerous looking men have taken a strong interest in the four of them and Wolf is taking them all in. Trevor and Wolf are Navy SEALS and are always prepared for anything.
The promised storm is pounding the area with a fierceness that means they can’t travel anymore. Honor is invited to take refuge with Caroline and the two Navy SEALS in the mountain cabin Trevor is renovating. It’s obvious to all the romance between Trevor and Honor is evolving very quickly.
Trevor’s cabin is a bit secluded and but the five men from the diner have tracked them down. Those guys are a pile of trouble. They brought more men with them as backup and they start to disable Trevor’s truck.
The SEALS talk to Honor and discover she isn’t just an anonymous, helpless woman on the road. The men pursuing her are terrorists and their plan is to kidnap her and hold her for ransom. She is sought by the terrorists because her father has classified information and they plan to force it out of him by threatening to kill Honor.
The SEALS have few resources and no way to call for their own backup. They will need every trick in their SEAL bag of skills to protect the women and themselves from this large group of dangerous men.
Mr. Jacobson’s first entry in the Brotherhood Protectors World series is Rainhorse. John “Jackson” Rainhorse is full-blooded Cheyenne. He’s former Army Ranger and a former killer for hire. He’s been in seclusion, hiding from the FBI.
Lindsay, Rainhorse’s high school sweetheart, has tracked down him down. Her daughter, sixteen-year-old Lona, has been kidnapped. The entire reservation is feeling terrorized and frightened for their children.
Rainhorse learns the organization’s modus operandi is to hook young adults on drugs and then kidnap them in to sexual slavery. The odds of finding Lona seem insurmountable. Along the way, the old flame between Lindsay and him is starting to burn brighter.
Mr. Jacobson lives in Seattle, Washington. When he has a spare minute he likes to play “oldies” on his old Epiphone acoustic guitar. He said it’s “just like the one Keith Richards used to record the songs ‘Angie’ and ‘Wild Horses’”. He loves to spend time with his family of two children and two grandchildren. The family group keeps him hopping and he celebrated his 40th wedding anniversary.
