Janelle Taylor
Author Janelle Diane Williams was born in Athens, Georgia on June 28, 1944. In the year 1965, she married Michael Taylor, with whom she has two children Alisha Taylor Thurmond and Angela Taylor-MacIntyre.
From 1977 to 1979 Janelle attended the Medical College of Georgia and Augusta State University from 1980 until 1981.
In the year 1981, she sold her first book. After she sold her second book shortly after, she withdrew out of college in order to become a full time author. She has gone on to make The New York Times Bestseller List eight times and there are 39 million copies of her books in print worldwide.
Janelle’s interests include collecting coins and spoons from around the world, dolls, ship models, and old books. She loves riding horses, fishing, target-shooting, playing chess, taking long walks with her husband, hunting for Indian relics, and traveling (particularly in her motor home and out West). Janelle likes to read, especially books set prior to 1900 and current Biographies, Horror, Thrillers, or Fantasy novels, is another of her favorite activities. She’s also incredibly active with charity work and was featured on the cover of Diabetes Forecast in February of 1998.
Janelle’s debut novel, called “Savage Ecstasy”, was released in the year 1982. Her work is from the romance, romantic suspense, historical romance, and paranormal romance genres.
“Savage Ecstasy” is the first novel in the “Gray Eagle” series and was released in the year 1982. It was just like lightning, the first time that they looked into one another’s eyes: Alisha, the beautiful young settler, and Gray Eagle, the captured Indian brave. While the proud Oglala warrior was getting tortured by his white captors, Alisha was the only one that appeared to notice that he was a human, both handsome and strong. And one that took her breath away.
However if she could have read Gray Eagle’s own thoughts she would’ve been that much more disturbed. Because right from the moment he saw her, the Indian knew that he had to have this fair-skinned lady. And his life wouldn’t be complete until he had made her his slave.
“Defiant Ecstasy” is the second novel in the “Gray Eagle” series and was released in the year 1982. The longer that Alisha Williams stayed at Fort Pierre, the more that she hoped her redskinned lover would rescue her from all of the tirades and taunts of the white pioneers. They’d never let her forget that she had been the mistress of Gray Eagle, the infamous savage warrior. Like this auburn-haired beauty could even forget.
Every night, Alisha sweetly remembered his burning kisses, bold caresses, and his blazing passion. Every day, she scanned the vast horizon in the hope that her Oglala brave would capture her again. One day, she saw hundreds of Indian warriors riding up to the gates of Fort Pierre, and at their head was the fierce Gray Eagle.
Even though her most fervent prayers were answered, her heart skips a beat: Would Gray Eagle destroy her, or make her destiny his own?
“Forbidden Ecstasy” is the third novel in the “Gray Eagle” series and was released in the year 1982. Alisha was fire and honey, satin and silk. Never before did the possession of one man fill her up with such excitement as when she held her handsome Indian lover in her arms. That she was a white woman living in the world of the red man didn’t matter one bit. They’d promised one another their hearts forever, so nothing could keep them apart.
Gray Eagle was gentle and fierce, possessive and powerful. He’d never forsake his bride of two moons, nor would he ever let her go. However when she awoke to dawn’s first light her bronze skinned warrior was gone. Her lips were swollen from his savage kisses and her body bruised up from his brutal passion. Yet she still longed for him.
Lost between two worlds, she was alone and desperate. Betrayed by her brutal lover, she hungered for their Forbidden Ecstasy.
“Brazen Ecstasy” is the fourth novel in the “Gray Eagle” series and was released in the year 1983. Alisha Williams, for four years, had been Princess Shalee (the cherished wife of Gray Eagle, the Oglala chief). Still their love was much stronger than the surging white water of some snow swollen stream and that much more powerful then the fiery crimson sun which commanded the planet.
However fate envied this perfect love of theirs and swept Alisha down the raging river and right out of Gray Eagle’s life. There was no possible way he could even know if she was alive or not when his empty teepee proved that she was gone.
However the daily torment of his lonesome heart and the nightly agony from unfulfilled passion insisted that somehow she’d survived destiny’s decree. He’d rescued her many times in the past, somehow he would find her again. No river too wide and no journey too long to find his beloved so they could once again share their Brazen Ecstasy.
“Fourth and One” is a stand alone novel that was released in the year 2014. Drew Hawkins, a Super Bowl winning quarterback, is in the wrong and right frame of mind to meet a woman that is going to challenge everything that he knows and all he holds dear. A woman that causes him to break every single one of his rules.
Raven Harlow is wealthy and gorgeous yet still naive. She’s seeking a feature writing career New York City when she meets Winter Gaines and swaps identities with the writer of some rather malicious exposes. Never did she imagine that the target of Winter’s project would be “Golden Lion” Drew Hawkins.
And never did she imagine she would end up falling for the playboy known as “Quick Release” both on and off the football field. Is she going to help tarnish Drew’s image? Or is she going to risk it all to save him? Either choice is going to cost her.
Drew and Raven face the ultimate test of courage, love, and honesty, when one shattering deception could destroy each of them.
