The book’s story features Simon Hudson and Kara Foster as the main characters and takes place in Tampa, Florida, United States. Simon Hudson has been described by author Scott as an Alpha Male in this novel and Kara Foster is depicted as his love interest. The two share an erotic and sensual relationship with each other, which can be seen throughout the plot of the book. Initially the novel was written as a 3 part trilogy and then later, it was completed as the bonus story of Simon and Kara was added in it to make it a four part series. All the 4 sub-parts of this book are titled as Mine For Tonight, Mine For Now, Mine Forever, and Mine Completely respectively. At the beginning of the central plot of the book, it is shown that Kara Foster works as a full time waitress at a restaurant and is a nursing student. However, she thinks that it would be terrifying to accept the offer from Simon as she does not know him very well and has not even met him before. In the end, it is to be seen whether the alpha male will be really able to solve her problems or he will end up causing more complications in her life and a danger to her mental and emotional sanity. Simon Hudson is introduced in the book as a reclusive billionaire, who would rather seem to sit behind his computer and create computer games than spending his time with the elite personalities. He seems to know very well what he wants in life. But, when sees Kara Foster for the first time, he gets touched by something in her. He had never experienced such feelings in his life ever before and does not seem to like it that much. Simon continues to watch over Kara for more than a year, but seems too stubborn to express his desire of possessing her. He does not even admit his desire to himself because of his stubbornness. However, when Simon Hudson sees that Kara has landed into very difficult situation that could cause her destruction, he comes forward and offers help. Simon does not seem to realize that if he saves Kara then he might go on to salvage his own soul. Author Scott has warned the readers about the steamy love scenes, graphic language, fully emotional sequences, and erotic romances depicted in the book. The second installment of The Billionaire’s Obsession series was published under the title ‘Heart of the Billionaire – Sam’. This novel was released by author Scott herself in the year 2013. The main characters featuring in this book are Madeline Reynolds and Sam Hudson. Sam is described as a billionaire, having lived his life with great care. But, feels sorry about the things that he did to Dr. Maddie Reynolds in the past. When he sees her again after many years during her brother’s marriage, he tries to polite with her so that he could set the things right between them. Sam goes on to make a bold offer to her, knowing that she will not refuse it in spite of hating him very much and that will minimize the differences between them. However, Maddie considers being in the presence of Sam as nothing less than a torture. But, after hearing about his offer she becomes torn between her dislike for the man and something that she had always wanted in her life. Due to Sam’s changed nature, Maddie Reynolds begins to think that sometimes things are not like what they appear to be. She also wonders whether Sam is really trying to set things right or he is playing another dirty game with her.
