He feels it is a much better approach than to just keep staring at the screen and thinking about what to write. The first novel of the series was published under the title “The Protocol”, in the year 2010. The novel depicts the central character James Acton, who battles his way out of a number of odd situations and keeps striving to bring out the truth. In today’s world, the descendants of the Triarii try to pervade each and every level of the society. They try to race against the current government in order to retrieve a lost ancient artifact. The ancient artifact is believed to be lost forever and the Triarii attempts to find it before anyone else gets it. Archaeology professor James Acton is caught in the middle of his profession as he is hunted by the elite Delta Force and the Triarii relentlessly. The Delta Force has ordered him to take possession of anything he finds during his excavations, whereas the Triarii is equally determined to prevent him from doing so as they fear the artifacts might fall into the wrong hands. The novel shows the ups and downs in the life of professor James Acton, who tries to flee from places after places in order to save himself from the Triarii. In his attempt to do so, he is forced to witness the deaths of some of his students and friends. Finally, he flees to find the only person who can help him to come out of the situation, however, he later finds out that he is falling close to the same organization he is trying to run away from.

James Acton also witnesses a possible holy war between the Islamic and Christian communities in Egypt, who are hell bent on wiping each one out. The novel confronts the conflict between the world’s most powerful religions and shows the possible terrifying outcome of their conflicts. Author Kennedy was highly praised for his efforts in trying to avoid harmful consequences through his novels.
