Hannah Shrock is a religion and romance author who loves to refer to herself as a clean Amish romance author, grandmother, mother and widow. Shrock made her debut with the 2016 published “An Amish Christmas with the Bontrager Sisters.” Since then she has become a prolific author with more than forty four novels in several series and more than 80 novellas and several collections to her name.

“The Amish Bishop’s Daughter” by Hannah Shrock is the story of Mary Byler, a young girl confused about faith and life. Would love be what she needs to find the answers to the many questions she has.

She has always dreamed of living like an Englischer but that was unattainable as she was the child of an Amish bishop. The bishop would do anything for his daughter which was a love that probably resulted from having to care and protect her when she lost her mother as an infant. All the bishop wants for his daughter is for her to get baptised before she can begin the search for a suitable husband.

A young Amish farmer named Jack King seems suitable given that he is handsome, kind, reliable and caring. But Mary is not so sure about the man and refuses to take a buggy ride with him.
While she is out in town, she meets a handsome Englischman and this is the genesis of conflict between her and her father. Disaster seems inevitable as Mary seems unprepared to deal with her conflicted emotions. There is no one that will support her when things go wrong and she could be in a lot of trouble.
The novel makes for a sweet and clean Amish romance that will have its readers in thrall from the first page to the last.

Hannah Shrock’s “An Amish Arrangement” is the story of an Amish girl at odds with her parents. They want her to get married and have already found a man for her. Rebecca Miller is tired of the constant warnings from her parents that she was not getting any younger. She is barely twenty but her parents want her to get married at the earliest opportunity.

The most handsome man in the Amish community is a man named Eli. But given that he knew he was hot and that all the girls would have loved to be with him, he had developed a certain aloofness.

His father intended to get him married before some Englischer girls got hold of him. To protect their children Eli and Rebecca’s parents enter into a conspiracy to get the two youths together. But Rebecca is not interested in Eli and it does seem as if Eli has all along been hiding something despite his aloof and confident bearing.

Another mystery in the whole thing is that there had been a strange man that had come to her aid when she crashed in a buggy.

“Amish Rejection” by Hanna Shrock is the story of Sarah King, a young Amish woman. She is grieving the fact that her partner has just left her for another woman. Will she be able to ever love or trust again or will she take a different path.

She believed that Jacob Troyer was the love of her life until out of the blue he had told her that he wanted out. Two years later she is yet to come to terms with her grief and things get even worse when she meets the man in a chance encounter.

Meanwhile, a former member of the Amish community named David Gingerich is back after years living in the English world. His aunt had fallen ill and he is back to take care of her. When he meets Sarah they have an instant connection but is love something Sarah can ever feel again?
