The Girl Who Disappeared Twice #3 Forensic Instincts
Krissy struggled to get away from the cruel kidnappers. Her mom was only several feet away, and she couldn’t hear her scream and squirm in terror as the snatchers hurriedly whisked her away in an ugly van. She was scared and distraught. But not nearly broken enough as her mother who felt the loss of her dear daughter down to her feeble knees. Judge Hope Willis hated herself for driving away a little too soon. If Willis had only looked back, then Judge Willis would have seen the vehicle that her daughter was determined to get out.

Judge Hope Willis frantically calls the tough investigators from Forensic Instincts to help bring back her daughter grasping at any hope for Krissy’s rescue. Casey woods understands her duress, and she teams up with her renegade sleuths who sometimes use unconventional means to get what they want. These are not your ordinary investigators. Casey is an ex-Navy SEAL and a tech wizard gifted with natural skills. Hope’s husband is against the idea of hiring bad cops to go after her daughter. Will Krissy survive this horrible ordeal?

Casey begins her investigations at the victim’s house. She is gifted with intuition and quickly discerns people’s characters within minutes of meeting with them. She quickly discovers Krissy’s father’s nervousness with guilt written all over his face. He seems dodgy and sweaty despite the cold weather outside. As the team of forensics gathers facts and pieces towards the girl’s disappearance, time is running out, and Krissy must come back home alive, at all costs. Too many secrets, unanswered questions, and suspicions that the forensics must piece together to solve this case.

Hope must raise $250,000 to see her child again. She is supposed to deliver the money without raising any suspicions or contacting the authorities. She foolishly obliges, but Casey tails her to the drop point without alerting her team at the FBI offices. The plot goes southwards, and Hope gets played after paying the cash and not getting her daughter back. There are a lot of inconsistencies and imprudent mistakes that contributed to the failed rescue attempt. Not so good for a start, let’s hope the next series produces enough juice to keep readers hooked on the narrative.

Line Between Here and Gone #2 Forensic Instincts

Forensic Instincts examine the image in the hope to find helpful clues and possibly find Paul.

The Forensic Instincts members – including the nutcase Hero – get down to business to try to find the missing body. Casey Woods leads the team of special agents, Marc, Paul Ryan, and Claire all former FBI agents devoted to saving the young boy’s life. Despite the dangerous paths, the forensics team vows to uncover the truth and save the little boy struggling to stay alive. This edition was far better than the first. It was riveting and enjoyable to the last chapter. The characters are likable, though a little obnoxious but bearable nevertheless. If you like complex and unpredictable thriller books, then you should read this book.

The Stranger You Know #3 Forensic Instincts
The freelance investigative team once again takes on a case led by the excellent behaviorist agent Casey This time the Forensics investigate the disappearance of the daughter of a senior business mogul from Columbia. She was a university student gone missing for a couple of years. Casey’s team of experts links a missing person report with a group of murders that connect the dots to the missing girl. In the case files, nearly all the persons reported lost fit a particular profile all females, college-going redheads. The special agents include a former navy seal, a tech freak, a gifted instincts reader and a trained dog.

Casey helped nail one of the brutal rapists by wooing him as she played victim to his preferences. The police arrested him and put him in jail for a long time. Glen, the rapist, did not forget that his arrest was manipulative and he planned on a big revenge on Casey for organizing the whole operation. Even while behind bars, Glen knows no boundaries as he keeps on tormenting Casey with more murders and threatening her of suffering the same fate. Casey and her team must find the culprit and thwart Glen’s copycat associates before more women suffer the same fate. Written in the third person, the author reveals the characters motives and frame of mind. In this particular book, Claire the psychic powers help advance the case through her intuitive skills. This was an excellent read since it brought out powerful scenes with the characters point of view narrative. Casey handles a tough case in this series. She deals with a lunatic who wishes her misery and ultimate death for instigating his incarceration.

Glen is not your ordinary kind of guy. He is twisted and has an army of fans out there willing to kill on his behalf. The forensics work tirelessly to apprehend the killers before many more girls disappear. Casey is determined on crushing Glen’s devious evil plots for good.
