Emily Sullivan is an American published author, winner of writing awards, and known for writing historical romance series that tends to be set in the late Victorian period.

She has a BA and a MA in the subject of English. She has had her writing featured in a variety of publications both online and in print, including The Toast and The Southampton Review. She has been a finalist for the Golden Heart Award four times and won the award in 2019 in the category of Best Historical Romance.

Emily’s first novel to be published is titled A Rogue to Remember. It was picked as one of the Ten Best Romance Debuts of 2021 by Booklist. Emily has written books that have received high praise from both readers and critics alike, and have been reviewed positively and praised in places such as Self, Buzzfeed, Bookpage, and Entertainment Weekly.

The author resides in New England with her family. She is married with children and shares her home with bookshelves full of books as well as a piano that probably does not get as much use as it should. She loves to write when she is not busy with other duties, and she continues to enjoy learning more about history and writing stories that feature rebellious women.

Emily loves to bake chocolate chip cookies and she prides herself on taking care of her house plants and not over watering them. She also enjoys watching old episodes of The Simpsons and identifying the guest stars who appear correctly.
