She has over the past few years written many romance novels and book series thanks to help from her co-writer sister. Elle James is known mainly for her various awards but has a rich history that includes working as part of the US military reserve and in the IT section. While her tenacity earns her favors from the professional military work, it is her artistic nature, arguably taken after her mom that keeps readers on their seat. Biography
Elle James was born in an air force base (Fairchild) in Spokane Washington, US and grew up loving the military stuff. Most of her books are heavily based around military settings or characters associated in some way with the military forces. Elle was interested in writing from an early age but never quite got to actualize her potential as she was brought up to be an IT professional. However, with the help of her loving sister Delilah Devlin she decided to put more effort into writing at the turn of the century. Their first book hit record sales and became so dominant earning them instant reputation from romance novel readers. Elle has managed to gain profound experience and insights from travelling to Germany and various other places she found herself as member of the US army and air force reserve. She has managed to keep a full time employment and travel across The United States. Elle has 3 children and live with her husband whom they have tried to raise three different exotic birds in Texas Hills. Her adventures with the ostriches and rheas and emus are always something to think about.

As an air force military brat raised in that little ranch in Texas, Elle inculcated the art of mystery, humor and suspense which she incredibly expresses in her novels. She writes for two different publishing houses offering two different lines of stories. For the Harlequin Intrigue, she writes paranormal gothic mystery and for Dorchester Publishing, she writes paranormal romantic comedy and romantic suspense. She is also a former computer programming manager and IT expert, a position that gave her experience in both language and authorship. Elle has written several romance books that go on to become some of the most read. When she made a decision to start writing, it was a challenge from her sister and they both wrote a chapter on their own before joining hands to complete the romance novel. They wrote novels for the first four years before going solo. Elle used the time to write, enter contest and get to the finals. It was only a short time before she started winning. Her 2004 manuscript for the paranormal romance novel “To Kiss a Frog” won the RWA Golden Hearts award. In the same year, she quit the IT job to become a full time writer. Since then, Elle has written numerous tales about murder, romance and suspense. Some of her popular books include “Beneath the Texas Moon” (2006), “Cowboy Sanctuary” (2007) and “Lakota Baby” (2006). Elle James has entered many writing contests and come close to winning a couple. She is a renowned bestseller in US and her books are known by many. Elle has made it to the final stages of various awards. Unfortunately, she has not quite managed to bag these honors. The only recognized award she is popular for is the 2004 RWA Golden Hearts Award she won in the category of romantic suspense writers with the “To Kiss a Frog” novel. The writer has also won small recognitions and is part of the public acclaimed best paranormal romance writers.

Although most of Elle James work is greatly appreciated by readers and writers foundations, her novels and books are yet to be considered for TV series and movie.    I just finished the Delta Force Strong. series. I was a bit disappointed
   With the lack of feeling of closure of each book. Which is not how many of Elle James’ books end. Thank you.

   I love the Elle James books I have read. Currently reading the Billionaire series. I wish she would make more of her books available via Amazon Kindle Unlimited. I read a lot, so I stick to those books available there. This is because of the economical value. I could never afford to spend the amount of money needed to read all the books I read.😊 I love when I find a author I love, and Elle James is one of those. ❤

   I have been reading the Billionaire series, and am loving them but I’ve reached book 7 which is listed as Billionaires Perfect Date. I can’t find the book anywhere on iReader but that was where it was listed. Any ideas??????
