About Darlene Tallman
Well known for her contemporary romance novels, the American author Darlene Tallman has a growing audience worldwide. Creating stories that really resonate, she writes stories that are grounded in reality that readers can easily relate to. She also never forgets to ensure that her books are entertaining every step of the way, keeping her readers continually hooked throughout. Allowing them to escape into her stories, she sets herself apart from other writers within her field, taking the genre in a somewhat different direction.
Also known for writing children’s stories, she’s a versatile author who completely understands her audience and what they’re looking for. Speaking to them in an immediately accessible style, she manages to adapt to whatever subject matter she’s writing about. Early and Personal Life
Born in Buffalo on the 28th of February, Darlene Tallman would grow up in the United States, keenly fascinated in literature from a young age. This passion of hers would develop throughout the years, allowing her to harness her style and her tone as a writer with something to say. Always wanting to write her own books, she would come to realize this dream in time, publishing numerous romance and children’s titles.
She does have faith, but her religion doesn’t define her books, as her characters are complex and intricate with many different facets. Moving from Georgia to Texas in the past, she puts a lot of her own experiences back into her work, making them far more immersive. Currently still writing to this very day, she lives with her son, as he also helps with her many imaginative children’s stories.
Writing Career
Starting her literary journey back in August, 2016, Darlene Tallman has come a long way since, publishing a great many books. Her first book was titled ‘Bountiful Harvest,’ and it was a stand-alone romance novel that would be highly inspirational for her readers. She’d also release ‘His Christmas Pixie’ that same year, which would be another romance novel, also be a stand-alone.
In 2017 the following year she’d begin her first romance series, which was to be called ‘Black Tuxedos MC’ and would start with ‘Reese.’ Publishing numerous other series too, she would write many of her books alongside fellow romance novelist Liberty Parker. The two of them have created a large number of books together, and Tallman continues to put out work at a regular pace.
A Twisted Kind of Love
Originally brought out on the Kindle back in 2019 on the 26th of January, this would be the seventh title in the ongoing ‘Rebel Guardians MC’ series. Writing the franchise alongside fellow novelist Liberty Parker, the two of them have worked together to create a collection of MC romance novels. Looking at the lives and loves of a motorcycle club, it features a different relationship with each novel, whilst also developing ongoing intertwining arcs and narratives.
There’s a big anniversary coming up and Paisley is thinking about how she and Twisted became a loving couple. Living as part of the Rebel Guardians Motorcycle Club, she casts her mind back to how they both met, coming to form a family of their own. Now living with the rest of the group, it also has a look at all of their lives seeing where they’re at, whilst telling the story of Twisted and Paisley. How do did they manage to find one another, what does the future hold, and how did they both create a twisted kind of love?
It’s an entertaining story with a lot to offer, as the book definitely comes alive off of the page, with both its premise and its characters. Offering fans of the series something in terms on developing characters, it’s also a well told self-contained romance story too. Creating a fully believable world, it’s both fun and engaging, allowing the reader to easily escape into its environment.
Seeking Our Destiny
Released through the Kindle publishing platform in 2020 on the 8th of February, this would be the third book in the ‘Nelson Brothers’ series. Set in the same world as the Rebel Guardians MC franchise, this works as a spin-off following brothers from the original series. Once again written alongside fellow writer Liberty Parker, it’s another romance title set in the world of motorcycle clubs focusing on a single relationship.
Looking at the relationship between Destiny and Silas, this examines the interplay between the two and the dynamics of their sexual relationship. Wanting Silas to commit to their relationship, Destiny is finding difficulty in making their romance more concrete between them both. Part of the Rebel Guardians MC, Silas is one of the Nelson brothers, as the two must overcome the various obstacles together. Will they be able to face their various different difficulties, can the overcome them together, and what will happen as they state they’re both ‘seeking our destiny?’
With some adult scenes this is one book that definitely doesn’t hold back, as it’s delivered in a straightforward manner. This is very much a book for fans of the genre, as it really makes the most of the MC romance format, really doing something different with it. The story is engaging along with the characters, as the world itself is further developed too, creating an even more immersive experience.
