The Dante’s Circle series written by the USA Today and New York Times bestselling author Carrie Ann Ryan is a series of paranormal novels, all of which are highly successful. Each of the novels of the Dante’s Circle series revolves around the lives of 7 friends, who get struck by strong lightening while drinking beer in their favorite bar, after which they get thrown into a new paranormal world suddenly. They do not appear to be familiar with the new world and seem be quite confused. Every woman in the new paranormal world gets transformed into a new creature of the paranormal form. In each of the novels of the series, it is shown that how the 7 friends find their way by following the path of love and fate.

The debut novel of the Dante’s Circle series written by author Carrie Ann Ryan was titled as ‘Dust of My Wings’. It was published in the year 2012 as a paperback edition. The story of this book revolves around the characters named Lily Banner and Shade Griffin. In the starting sequence of the story of the book, it is shown that the humans are not as alone as they believe to be. Each and every human being possesses some or he other kind of supernatural trait that remains dormant in their genetically developed body. Because of the breeding and diluting for a number of centuries, the humans have set a belief in their minds that are not touched by magic and that they are alone in the world, free from any paranormal creature. But, everything is turned upside down in the human world when changes begin to happen. Lily Banner, who lives as any other human being, is described as a neat and a freak laboratory technician. She seems very much dedicated towards her work and likes to hang out along with her friends at her favorite local bar named Dante’s Circle.

One day, she discovers a strange blue colored dust in her laboratory and comes across a handsome stranger, who was believed to hold secrets as well as Lily’s heart. After that Lily experience a close encounter with a strong thunderstorm and begins to believe that she is not as ordinary as she things herself to be. The handsome stranger is called Shade Griffin, who is an angel warrior sent to Earth from heaven in order to protect the secrets of the supernaturals. But, he faces one problem in that he keeps on leaving blue dusts at the places he visits all over the town and cannot stop it. As a result, he is needed to collect each and every ounce of the dust so that he can still keep the presence of supernaturals as a secret. However, his millennia old loyalties begin to shift when he gets attracted towards the sexy lab technician named Lily Banner. During the unexpected events and chaos happening around him Shade Griffin could lose much more than just his wings. Author Carrie Ann Ryan has warned the readers that before attempting to read this book, they must be aware that it contains a number of sexy scenes. The interaction of the sexy angel and the green eyed lab technician seems quite sensual as they face difficulties because of the choices they make. In the end, the novel leaves a shocking spark in the minds of the readers, which makes them begging for some more interesting description of the paranormal romance between the main characters in the further novels of the series.

The combination of a rigid angel looking to unwind himself, a bookkeeper is in search of a dream lover, and a demon who wishes to press both of down for his own freedom, has worked wonders for the novel as it has gone on to become a grand success. With the help of this success, author Carrie Ann Ryan went on to establish herself as one of the popular authors of the paranormal romance genre. The success also enabled her to work on the plots of the other novels in the series, all of which also became very much popular just as the initial books of the series. Author Carrie Ann Ryan also went to work several other paranormal series’, and thereby she became one of the world famous writers.
