Cursed Legacies (Series by Morgan B. Lee)
Author Morgan B. Lee writes the “Cursed Legacies” series of romantic fantasy novels.

This is a why choose/reverse harem paranormal romance. If you like multiple POV, fated mates, a variety of possessive guys that are unhinged for their girl, and an equally broken yet determined female lead, this is a series for you.

“Blood Oath” is the first novel in the “Cursed Legacies” series and was released in 2024. Everbound University is the mandatory grad school for anything that goes bump in the night. Not going is not an option. Unless you actually want to get hunted down for illegally inhabiting the mortal world.

All legacies (the descendants of the Four Houses) are required to attend since they are all cursed, and the sole way to break their curses is through binding their hearts in a quintet. Becoming a part of a quintet is a dream come true. Destiny fulfilled. A merciful and gods-given blessing.

For Maven, it is a hard pass. She cannot be bound to anybody else. It wouldn’t end well, take her word for it.

So when she gets placed in a quintet, she promptly rejects all four of her matches for her own good. However these gorgeous, powerful, high profile legacies don’t have any idea how to handle rejection.

The charming dragon shifter won’t leave her alone. The unhinged nightmare prince calls her darling. The cutthroat blood fae shows his softer side to her. And that gorgeous ice elemental is just as overprotective as he is cold.

They are the sort of deadly perfection which draws a lot of attention. Which is precisely what Maven’s attempting to avoid, since nobody can know her secret. She will do whatever it takes to make them all decide she is not worth chasing. Problem is, no matter what she does to make them hate her, it just seems to have the opposite effect.

“Shadow Heart” is the second novel in the “Cursed Legacies” series and was released in 2024. Assassinating the headmaster did not quite go as planned. And now Everbound University is on strict magical lockdown, and the Immortal Quintet has just arrived to hunt down the person that killed their mage, which isn’t Maven, ironically.

She is also looking for the real culprit which would let her find Kenzie. At the same time, the four beautiful and stubborn legacies which Maven has fought tooth and nail to resist are beginning to figure her out, a little at a time, however she also is beginning to understand them better. The more she does, the more she wonders if the gods truly did match their broken souls together perfectly.

While tensions rise and the Immortal Quintet turns the danger up for all the students, their quintet gets forced to work together in order to survive. However training together is a pretty dangerous game all on its own. Since the more that she gets of these legacies, the more she wants.

If they thought rejecting her was brutal, they have yet to see her fight to protect her own. And now, that includes them.

Because of strong language, dark themes, violence, and explicit sex scenes (including group sex), this intended for readers ages 18+.

“Twisted Soul” is the third novel in the “Cursed Legacies” series and was released in 2024. The secret’s out. Maven is the prophesied scourge, and according to the Legacy Council, her quintet and she have to be hunted down and destroyed immediately.

With the massive bounty they have put on all their heads, there is no telling who they can truly trust. Going on the run does feel cowardly, however it is necessary. They need time to regroup so that Maven can move on to the next step of her plan to free the humans trapped in the Nether. They also must figure out how she is being bound mysteriously to each one of her matches. It should actually be impossible, but the more they bond against all odds, the more powerful she feels.

Getting closer to them feels very good. No matter what Maven’s inevitable fate holds, they do make it worth it. However all of this newfound power from bonding is doing something to the shadow heart that’s in her chest, strengthening her link to the Entity and putting her quintet in further danger. Not the fun kind, either.

Amid this her two-way game of cat and mouse with immortal monsters and navigating the intricacies of bonding with her quintet, this unexpected secret’s been emerging out of the dark shadows of her past. Something that she was unprepared for. It seems that the gods have been playing games. That’s fine with her. So game on then.

“Divine Fate” is the fourth novel in the “Cursed Legacies” series and was released in 2025. Maven is a demigod that was raised in hell. Now the gods are saying that she’s earned the right to join them in Paradise.

However an eternally peaceful existence as a goddess? Hard pass on that. Particularly if that means she never got to see them ever again. Her charmingly ferocious dragon shifter. Her thoughtful and merciless fae necromancer. Her dreamy and unhinged Nightmare Prince. And her beautifully brutal ice elemental. All of these legacies are hers, and she refuses to just let them go without putting up a fight.

Which is why she found a way to go back to the mortal realm, even if she does not remember what she did. Yet. Her memories of Paradise are coming back to her slowly while trying to bring her quintet back from their broken and twisted madness.

She believed that they were obsessed with her, but now? These cursed legacies are deliciously heartless whenever it comes to keeping her safe. The feeling is totally mutual.

However if her quintet wants to have any sort of future together, she first needs to fix the wreckage that she left the mortal world in.

Obsession, darkness, battle, bloodshed, divine vengeance, and death. Definitely sounds like the beginning of a happily ever after to Maven.
