Ellie Alexander is a published author of fiction. She is a native to the Pacific Northwest and in her free time likes to bake. Ellie loves to take some pastry recipes and try them out in the comfort of her kitchen at home. She loves also visiting the many breweries and coffee houses close to her. She often is covered in flour but she also pursues other hobbies when not baking and writing such as going hiking on the southern Oregon trails, going outside, and exercising. She is known for being the author of the Sloan Krause mysteries as well as the Bakeshop Mystery series. She was also a contributor to the Cozy Case Files.
Ellen Hart is a prolific author of fiction. She has written over 30 novels in the crime fiction genre as part of two separate series of novels. She has won the Lambda Literary Award multiple times for the category of the best lesbian mystery. She has also won the Minnesota Book Award three times in their category of Best Popular Fiction. She has won the Golden Crown Literary Award three times and has also received the Alice B. Medal.
Ellen was nominated and made a GLBT Literary Saint in 2005 in New Orleans at their Saints & Sinners Literary Festival. She was also named to a list by Entertainment Weekly of one of their “101 Movers and Shakers in the gay entertainment industry”. She has taught writing modern mystery stories in an introductory course hosted at the famed Loft Literary Center, an independent writing community and the largest one in the United States. She has been with her partner for decades and is known for writing the Jane Lawless mystery series. She is also a contributor to the Cozy Case Files.
Michelle Kelly used to be an English teacher and now she is a published author. She writes in many genres and uses the pen name of Kelly Lawrence to write her nonfiction, erotic memoir, and contemporary romance stories. She resides in England in the countryside of the Amber Valley with her partner along with their two children. She describes herself as being a hopeless romantic. The author also is interested in history, leading her to pen historical romances which is a perfect fit. She wrote her first historical story at 12 years old and she tied it with string. She is featured in the first volume of the Cozy Case Files with her story “Death at the Yoga Cafe”.
