When a city faces down terrible horrors, they’re going to have to figure out whether they want to risk losing everything or try to save it all with one of their most hated outcasts.
Edrin Walker is a magician and he’s been on the run for a decade. He’s been doing his best to dodge some serious debt and demons along the way. Now he has come back home for a real purpose, to avenge his friend’s horrible murder.
His friend was killed for a very specific reason, too. Lynas had gotten to the bottom of a horrible secret, and it was something so devastating that it could eat the city whole.
His friend had done his best to try and warn the sorcerers who rule the city, a group known as the Arcanum. He did his best to try and get to them but he failed and as a result he was skinned alive. It was horrible, and Edrin felt every single cut.
Nothing will now get in the way of his attempts to find the murderer and bring him to justice. He will go through everyone if he must, whether they are a magi, a mortal, a demon or even a god. Even if they are a god– Edrin has killed one before. He can kill one again.
Will Walker be able to avenge the death of his friend or is he about to find out in a very big way that he is way overmatched? Read this book to find out!
God of Broken Things is the second book in the Age of Tyranny series by Cameron Johnston. If you enjoyed the first installment of this series, then be sure to check out this continuation of the fantasy adventure that will get your heart pumping with every page you turn!
A magician who has always been a little on the outside must put his mind and his body on the line if he wants to protect the world from demons. It’s all fun and games to be the outsider, but when they really need you, they always come running.
Edrin Walker was able to destroy the monster that the Skallgrim sent, but it laid waste to Setharis before he could do so. Along the way, it also was able to infest the magical elite with mind-controlling parasites.
Edrin has always possessed a gift to capture the minds of others, but in the heat of battle it was cracked. He’s just barely able to get through the interrogation of a magus that has been captured. While he would love some time to regroup and recover, there unfortunately may not be enough time.
There’s an army of Skallgrim that is going marching on the Clanhold’s mountain passes. Edrin is racing to stop them, along with a group of other villains. However, they’re going to have a tough time of it.
The mountains are full up with magic, demons, gods, and things from his past. He has to win, and he’s not going to let anything stop him. It might even mean that he loses his mind, or something worse than that. Will Edrin be able to take on the Skallgrim and win? Or is it a fool’s errand? Read the second book in this compelling fantasy series by Cameron Johnston to find out!
