Ash Ericmore is a British author of horror. He lives in the Garden of England in the south. He is known for writing horror stories that have a touch of the fantastic but are sometimes grounded and nearly always very graphic and containing a dark humor.

Ash is the creator and author of many different series, including the Carnie series, the End of All Things series, and many different stand alone novels and contributions to different collections that includes Made Flesh, Next Left and Other Stories, and Different Floors.

Carnie is the first book in the Carnie series by Ash Ericmore. If you like a good bit of horror and do not have a deep rooted fear of clowns, this may be a book that you want to check out!

When it comes to life, sometimes you just have to keep your distance from the clowns. Main characters Sarah and Mia should have left the carnival when they had the opportunity and gotten out of that horror show for good. Now it’s too late.

They have one falling out with a clown with a propensity for stabbing others and they’re settled down in the back of a lorry, making their way to a destination as yet to be defined. They have good reason to suspect that the journey, no matter where it is to, will end in murder.

Carnie is a gore story that is designed to disgust you. The reader may be interested in this or they may want to avoid such things. This is a dark humor and extreme horror novella, and if you are sensitive to topics and themes in certain areas then you may want to stay clear before starting.

There are lots of trigger warnings, but readers will likely know before starting whether they are up for this type of genre or they are better off moving to the next. If you’re interested in this genre, check out Carnie and see what you think!

Ball and Chain is the second book in the Carnie series by Ash Ericmore. If you like horror that takes things to the next level, you will certainly enjoy this horror novella.

As the first story illustrated, a good rule of thumb when it comes to life is to keep your distance from those clowns at all costs. It doesn’t matter where you see them, you’ve got to stay away from them.

Jessica may be fated to meet the same end as the ones who came before her, but is that really how things are going to end up for her? She used to be at the Fear Factory, and she finds herself now in a cage. Everything has gone wrong in the worst type of way, but things have been bad before. Maybe she’ll find a way to get out of this.

Jessica is a bit concerned that one of the carnies seems to be interested in her personally, which is making things even worse. In the middle of a bad situation, that new element being added into the mix certainly isn’t helping.

When you get married to a person that you find out is a clown who has strange tendencies, you have to decide whether you want to put up with it or whether you want to go. Sometimes you don’t have that much of a choice.

This is a strange tale that may be too visceral for some readers. It’s definitely romance, but there are strong themes in here so if things such as consensual intercourse is over the line for you, this is not the type of dark romance story for you. It goes without saying but this story is for readers who are eighteen years of age and up. Again, there are strong themes contained in this story so please be mindful of that before starting this book. That being said, enjoy for those of you that give this book a chance!
