Her Writings
During her studies, her love for writing came into action and she wrote three books though none is still in print today.Ann confesses that Miss Julia had been stuck in her mind for long.An image of an elderly woman who was good woman who was a church goer, acted according to her society’s expectations clean and had all the zeal to be the ideal woman. She endured her long unhappy marriage but when she realized she had been betrayed she cut loose which is very appealing to many women.

Miss Julia Hits The Road,is another of Ann’s bestsellers. Here Miss Julia is concerned that Lilian is losing her home while Sam is loosing his mind.As Julia organizes the community in an effort to help Lilian and Her neighbors,Sam is busy writing poetry and sending flowers. In a twist of events however unprecedented growth caused by rejuvenating waters from a local spring has someone else sending candy, writing poetry and becomes a heavy contributor to the fundraiser.
In Miss Julia Meets Her Match,a religious theme park is opening in the county.A new rumor about Wesley Lloyd surfaces and Julia has to stop them before they reach little Lloyd. She hires Mr Pickens to dig out the source while trying to disrupt everything with something more tantalizing like a reception for Tonya Allen and Tony Allen. However she has no rest as as Sam is on her neck to set up a wedding date before she even makes up her mind.
Miss Julia’s School of Beauty adds to more great productions by Ann B.Ross.Miss Julia is helping Hazel Marie to plan a beauty pageant to pick Miss Abbot County Sheriff’s department. The legitimacy of her relationship to Sam is at stake and the presence of Etta Mae Wiggins who might be eying Sam while Thurlow Jones definitely has his eyes on Julia, means things at Abbots county may take a very interesting twist.
Miss Julia Stands Her Ground-The return of Hazel Marie’s uncle brother Vernon Pucket spells doom to Julia and Sam who are hoping to settle together to happy and peaceful days.He claims that Julia’s is not a biological son to her late husband.DNA testing remains the only sure way to settle this matter.Lilian comes to the rescue of a looming exhumation of the late Wesley Lloyd’s remains.
Another of her many Miss Julia Lays down the la, Julia is highly offended thus leaves Clayborn’s house with a never to return intention. An invitation to a get together at Clayborn’s modern house leads to a stinging critique of the town by Connie leaves Julia and the other ladies with a feeling that she has socially ruined herself and invitations to other events will be hard to come by.Julia is a suspect to what happens to Connie and alongside other suspects she is questioned by lieutenant Peavey. With a buzz of events going on around her,Julia finds herself in deep trouble.Fundraising efforts by Coleman finally ends, the Ledbetter’s who have been missing finally show up at an Episcopalian’s home. The night runner is nabbed and all the suspects are exonerated. In no uncertain terms,Julia now begins to lay the law.
Most of her readers confesses that they would wist to be Miss Julia in their lives. When asked whether she is Miss Julia she quickly answers;”I promise you I am not Miss Julia. She has more money than me and I have more children than her”.
She has strict plan when writing but allows ideas to flow as they pop int her mind.Ann has definitely produced great titles in her series most of which have all appeared on the New York Times Extended Bestseller List.
