The American writer Kimberly Van Meter is known under a variety of different pseudonyms, one of them being Alexx Andria, as she has been writing for quite some time now to worldwide acclaim. Appreciated for her fun and witty take on the erotica and romance genres, she has been able to create a style that is all of her very own. Writing in an intimate style, she is able to bring her readers in, treating them as close confidantes of sorts, making them feel as if she is writing for them and them alone, something which is clearly reflected within her sales. Achieving bestseller status, she has become a hit with both the critics and the general public alike, with people worldwide singing her praises, as her stories resonate with readers regardless of where they’re from. Writing for as long as she can remember, she has always held a strong passion for the written word, creating characters and narratives that are juxtaposed against one another expertly. Clearly a master of her craft, she is also able to turn up the heat, creating erotic stories that really manage to tantalize the reader, as she really knows what it is that her audiences are looking for. With more titles to come still, it doesn’t look like she’s stopping any time soon either, as her writing career grows from strength-to-strength, something which will continue for quite some time to come.
Early and Personal Life
Born in California in Mariposa County, the future author to be Kimberly Van Meter was always a budding novelist for as long as she could remember, constantly with her head in a book. Always consuming literature, she would take in as much as she could, especially when it came to romance novels, continually looking to develop both her and her craft. This would continue throughout the years, especially during her education, as she would focus herself on both reading and writing as much as she possibly could.
Attending college she would go on to later become a journalist, as she would start out by writing for her college publications, during which time she would also meet and fall in love with her husband to be. Later working for newspapers of both the weekly and daily variety, she would gain a lot of experience writing to a schedule, as well as producing work that was to be consumed by a mass audience. Currently with her husband still, she continues to write to this very day, as they both happily reside with their three children, one dog and two cats, all whilst bringing out work at a regular and consistent pace.
Writing Career
Creating her first novel at the tender age of just sixteen when she got her first typewriter, she would always have her eyes focused upon a career in writing full-time as an author. She would later get her first book released in 2006 for the Harlequin publishing label, as she would contribute to the long-running ‘Going Back’ series of books, which consisted of a number of different authors. This title would be called ‘The Truth About Family’ and it would come to exemplify a long an illustrious career in publishing to follow, as she would go on to produce a number of her own books too.
Later on she would go on to become the much acclaimed brand of Alexx Andria, which was a name that would become synonymous with witty and sizzling romance novels, Bring her first titles ‘One naughty Girl’ and the stand-alone ‘Badge Bunny Gangbang’ in 2011, a collection of novels would quickly follow shortly after. Maintaining a strong presence both online and off, this is a name that she will continue to use for some time to come, with her many series and franchises continuing on into the foreseeable future.
Brought By the Billionaire Brothers
First published in 2012 this was originally released on the 15th of October that year, as it would mark the third title in the ‘Brought By the Billionaire Brothers’ series of books. Following the story of one woman caught between three dominant brothers, it sees her attempting to control her passions, whilst also succumbing to her many desires. Following on in much the same vein as the previous two novels, it continues a definite arc, requiring them to be read in succession.
Working for the Buchanan brothers, Penny McDaniel doesn’t realize what it is that she is getting herself into, as she takes on the role of accountant for them both. Finding herself caught between the two of them, she soon embarks on a sizzling affair of epic proportions, as she attempts to overcome her passion for them both. That is until the black sheep of the family Dillon Buchanan turns up, as he decides that he also wants her, and will do whatever it takes to have his way. Who will she end up with? Can she overcome her passion? What will happen as she finds herself brought by the billionaire brothers?
Payback
Brought out in 2016 on the 5th of July, this was to be ‘A Bad Boy Romance’ which, whilst not a series as such, has loosely become a collection of books that are related somewhat thematically. Telling a steamy romance story with strong dominant men and the women who love them, this follows many distinctive tropes of the genre, whilst also branching out on its own. Giving the readers what they want, this also has plenty of surprises of its own along the way, giving it enough of its own personality to stand on its own.
Starting out with the character of Holly, it sees her having lived a sheltered life, as she has been protected from the harsh realities of gang life by her brother. Leading a gang of his own, she is soon kidnapped by a rival gang, with the leaders being the brothers Cason and Tito, who will use her to bring her brother down. What they don’t account for, though, is Cason and Holly’s strong attraction for one another, as they attempt to overcome their urges and desires. Can she overcome her desires? Where will her passions lead her? Will the brothers get payback?

Hi, I just finished The Girls They Stole. What a frantic read. I think I was short of breath trying to run with them through the woods. I just ordered The Girls They Lost.
