Alex is a best-selling writer of novels that generally fall into the contemporary romance genre. She likes to write romance stories that are emotionally gripping that get the heart pounding. She has written several series, including the Jaded Hollow series, the Consumed series, the Westbridge series with A.M. Wilson, the Hell Night series, the Bully Me series with author Melissa Toppen, the Ever series, and the Itty Bitty Delights series. She has also written several stand-alone novels, including Endless Obsession, Whispered Prayers of a Girl, and The Sinister Silhouette.

She always has had a passion for books but found that her passion got reignited thanks to a gift that she received from her sister-in-law. She spent many years reading books and working as a blogger. After that, she decided to write her first book and independently publish it. It also took slightly longer than she intended, but ultimately her first book came out in 2014. She kept going and has been doing great publishing her own novels and even collaborating with other authors ever since.

Alex was originally from the south but has since relocated. She is married and shares two children with her husband. They reside in Ohio along with their pets, which include two cats and a dog.

Bailey is the main character in this story. She’s someone that has always been familiar with pain, having gone through a fair amount of it ever since she was young from people that were supposed to look out for her and protect her. Everyone there made her feel welcome, coming there with open arms and making her feel protected and safe. The sad part is, it’s the first time ever in her life that she can remember feeling safe.

Then there’s Jaxon Walker. He owns a bar and has tattoos, and he also seems interested in her. He’s determined to try and get under her skin and wants to hear all about her secrets, even if she doesn’t want to tell them. It’s not that she doesn’t trust him, it’s just that she doesn’t want to put anyone that she knows in danger.

It seems like Jaxon could be a possible love interest. Maybe even the type of love that she has been looking for her entire life. But just as things start to get good, it appears that the past is coming into this dream world that she has been residing in and interfering with everything. It turns out that she might need the prince charming to save her.
