Adina attended Seton Hill University. She pursued learning how to write popular fiction and graduated with her MFA. She would also teach at Seton Hill in the position of adjunct faculty. In 2005, she received the RITA Award for her work. She became a finalist the next year for that same award.

She also was a finalist for a Christy Award in 2009 under her pen name. In addition to all of this, three of her novels have made the short list for the Carol Award. In addition to enjoying reading and writing books, this writer also enjoys spending time with her husband. They love traveling together and on top of that, this writer also enjoys playing instruments such as the Celtic harp and the piano and keeping her rescued flock of chickens thoroughly spoiled.

Adina Senft is the creator as well as the author of the Amish Quilt series. This fictional series of inspiration novels first kicked off in 2011 with the release of the first novel in the series, which is titled The Wounded Heart. The second book in the series came out the following year, and is titled The Hidden Life. The third book was released in 2013 and made it a trilogy and is titled The Tempted Soul.

The Wounded Heart is the first novel in the Amish Quilt series by Adina Senft, the Amish Quilt. In this debut story in the series, readers get the chance to meet the main character for the first time. Amelia Beiler is a woman that is having a tough time in the world.

She is a widow and she was left with two children to raise. Amelia’s husband passed and the two children are hers to take care of now. She still has to run a household and has the business that her late husband used to run. She is having a tough time making the ends meet up however and she was never raised or trained to be able to run a business.

The thing that she does know how to do is to get a home in order and run it. Amelia just wants to stay inside of her comfort zone, but also knows that it’s going to take more than that in order to flourish. She is interested when she receives a business offer from none other than Eli Fischer. Amelia is all too happy to have the chance to consider what the offer involves.

This might finally be her chance to get a little money coming in. She is happy to be able to seriously take his offer into consideration. The only thing is that she is starting to get the idea that this business offer is one thing, but Eli might be interested in buying the shop– and maybe even courting her.

She is flattered by the idea that this man might have an interest in her as he is very nice and appears to be very moral. However, things take a sharp turn left when she starts finding that she is going through odd physical symptoms and has no idea why it is happening. She quickly gets an idea when she pursues medical evaluation and finds out that she has multiple sclerosis.

It is tough for her to deal with the fact that she has come down with something that is certain to be difficult. She trusts in the will of God, but is that faith in her god enough? She wants to go with the treatment that she trusts to be the best, but when it comes to that, can she be strong enough to risk what comes along with it?

She is also not certain if she should let Eli into her life. Can she let this nice young man court her and date her, or will she find that she is willing to give him up because she knows that she cannot know for sure that she will be able to give him the future with her or a partner that he would deserve? Find out by picking up this exciting first book in the series to find out for yourself!

The Hidden Life is the sequel to the first in the Amish Quilt series. When it comes to life, Emma Stoizfus still has yet to experience a lot. She can admit that up until this point, she has never been on a date with anyone. She’s never been kissed by a boy or even courted.

She is happy to do it, but she also has a passion. When her mother is sleeping at night, Emma is busy. She stays up writing essays and letters, sending them to Amish periodical publications. She writes short stories as well as a novel that she has been crafting.

Emma is happy to do her creative work, but what is she going to do if things get serious? She’s finding that a literary agent from New York may be more than interested in her writing. So she goes and secretly meets with him. It’s a chance to pursue her dreams.

When she comes back, the members of the community wonder what it is about her that’s different. She wants to have a personal life and romantic relationship. However, that’s going to be tough to do when she fell for her true love years ago.

Her quilting friends Carrie and Amelia understand. When a tragedy from the past rises to the surface, it could make or break it all. What happens in the end? Read this book to find out!
