A. American is the pen name used by a well known author from America, who is popular for writing military fiction books based on the survivalist theme. He has written and published the very successful Survivalist series in particular. This series is also known by the name Going Home series.

Before beginning his writing career, author American was involved with the survival communities on a large scale. In fact, he has been working and prepping for such communities for the last 20 years. The typical style of writing of author American shows that he is typically an outdoorsman, who also has the knowledge about how to use the plants for nourishment and medicinal purposes.

Also, the knowledge and experience of the survival techniques and skills are considered to be his typical domain. Other than the specialist and trained survival techniques, author American also possesses the knowledge about the primitive skills for survival.

All these skills and abilities have been used by him in his novels to do the characterization of his lead character in the Survivalist series. His intriguing writing style and excellent plot development have helped his books to become extremely popular all across the globe.

The books are very much liked by those readers who seem to have interests in learning about the survival techniques as a means of self defense and survival in difficult situations. As of today, author American lives on the outskirts of the Pisgah National Forest, located in North Carolina.

His family is comprised of his loving wife and 3 beautiful daughters. Author America began writing the Survivalist series in the year 2012 and also released the first book of this series in the same year. The book is known by the title of Going Home.

With the publication of this book, author American also got included in the list of published authors. Over the years, he has published a few books in the series, which went on to become bestsellers. Currently, he is working on one of the next plots in the series, which he is expected to publish very soon.

Author American is relying heavily on the success and positive response towards all his previous books and hopes that his future books will also become equally popular if not more in the days to come. In Going Home, author American has introduced the lead character in the form of Morgan Carter, who is shown as using his survival techniques to come out alive from a deadly situation.

When he is heading towards his home in his car, it gets broken down at around a distance of 200 miles away. He had made some plans for the weekend, but it appears that they are not going to see the light of the day as he gets stuck in a far away place with a broken car.

But, Morgan’s situation appears to be just a beginning of a bigger problem that is about to hit the city. The power grid of the entire country goes out, which causes a complete darkness all over. People face a lot of difficulties due to the absence of electricity, internet, and water.

No one seems to have any idea as to when the things are going to get back to normal. Fortunately for Morgan Carter, he is a skilled and experienced survivalist. He decides to hit the road with the help of his prepper pack and reach the city as soon as possible so as to take control of the situation.

Morgan is also required to carry out the difficult task of finding out what had caused the major blackout in the city and whether something more dangerous is about to happen. If so, he must be ready to face the music and try to prevent a deadly situation from causing a major trouble in the city.

An earlier book published in the Survivalist series by author A. American is titled as ‘Forsaking Home’. The Plume publication released this book in the year 2014. Morgan Carter is depicted as the chief protagonist in this book. At the start of the book, the author has shown that Morgan Carter manages to weather a few weeks after the nation’s power grid collapse and somehow becomes successful in reuniting with his family. He makes sure that they are safe and then takes them to a safe place.

But, his struggle does not seem to be over yet. As the society seems very much unstable, Morgan Carter must find a way to survive in such harsh conditions. However, the challenges appear to be far beyond his imagination. In the meantime, Morgan and his crew members come to know about a refugee camp in nearby enclosed quarters that is run by government.

The camp causes a lot of assaults on the refugees, causing injury and murder to many of them. Jess, who controls the norms of the camp, continues to cause trouble inside. At the same time, Morgan plans to bring down the entire establishment with the help of his crew members.

On the whole, the book appears to be filled with action packed adventure, depicting the horrible possibilities in an awry gone world. The novel also shows the courage of Morgan Carter to protect the city and prevent it from getting lost forever. Another popular book published in the series is titled as ‘Resurrecting Home’. It was also released in the year 2014 by the Plume publishers.

In the opening sequence, author American has shown that Morgan Carter and his family members become successful in coming out of the difficult situation against all the odds, in spite of the deteriorating conditions that surrounded them. Being armed with the special survival tactics, Morgan and his crew members try to work together in order to build a community that could sustain them.

They are joined in the process by the their new friends, whom they rescued from the DHS camp recently. But, with the growing difficulty, it appears that they could not prepare for all the situations. Soon, a huge wildfire occurs that tends to threaten their existence in the community built by them.

Now, Morgan and his friends are left with only two options, either fight or run away. Once again, author American has described a plot full of action and adventure. The story shows that what matters the most in every difficult situation is the courage to protect our loved ones. The “Survivalist” series is survivalist, dystopian, post-apocalyptic fiction about a man named Morgan Carter, a survivalist.

Morgan and his family must learn to survive after the power grids in the United States go down, leaving the world without electricity and running water. Not to mention other things that the modern world is used to having, if not takes it for granted.

The author of the series A. American, uses his experience in survival communities that he has worked with for over twenty years. He also uses his expertise of the outdoors and how plants can be used for different nourishment and medicinal purposes.

He knows about primitive survival skills. The novels in the series are published by A. American (an author who is using a pseudonym) himself. “Going Home” by A. American is the first novel in the “Survivalist” series that was released in 2012. Morgan Carter thinks that his car breaking down is going to ruin his weekend plans.

But man, is he in for much worse than a bad weekend because the United States’s power grid has gone down. There is no water, no internet, and no electricity; even worse is the fact that no one knows when things will be restored or if they even will be.

As a survivalist, this is what Morgan has been training for, and he sets out with his prepper pack. He travels all the way from Tallahassee to Lake County, where he calls home. It would be an easy trip, if Morgan was not facing chaos with every step.

Morgan is determined to get back to his daughters and his wife. Fans of the novel enjoyed the way that Morgan tells readers how he put his prep pack together, and how he plans to survive on his walk. Some enjoyed the way the story presents readers with a very real scenario and it made them keep on reading the novel until they had finished it.

Some found that the novel holds the attention and makes the readers want to find out what happens next in the series to these characters. This is a novel that will make the readers think about things that they probably never have.

The novel is recommended reading for those who enjoy reading about survivalists and the end of the world. Some did not like how bad the novel is written and there were far too many typos in the novel that took away from the story.

Some did not like the switching between first and third person perspective and the women are weak. Some felt the novel’s plot to be a little paranoid and make people worry that the government is going to screw things up and push us into an apocalypse.

Some found that certain sections of the novel were skippable and allowed them to finish reading a lot quicker as a result. “Surviving Home” by A. American is the second novel in the “Survivalist” series that was released in 2013. Morgan has returned to his wife and children, after a 250 mile walk. The worst is yet to come and Morgan senses that in his family.

Many of their neighbors are ill prepared for what has happened, despite Morgan’s years of preparing for something like this. He can see that they are starting to get restless, and know that he and his family have supplies that they think he should share with them.

Fans of the novel find that they are getting some good ideas on how to take care of themselves if they are ever faced with what these characters are faced with. Some liked the ideas that American explores, like how would someone get through a glorious lack of electricity.

Some felt that the author does a better job writing this novel, and there is even better pacing and more action to keep things going. Some felt that they were strongly invested in these characters and that this was a series they were going to follow from here on out.

Some did not like the way the women were a little on the weak side, and relied on the men folk to take care of things for them. Some felt that the characters are one dimensional and the writing in the novel is simple. They seem to only be in the novel just to service the men.

Some of the events of the novel are pretty unrealistic. “Escaping Home” by A. American is the third novel in the “Survivalist” series that was released in 2013. People start to wonder who they can trust after the power goes out. Martial law has been declared and no one is safe anymore.

After a streak of violence, Morgan has to decide whether he should leave his home so that he can better protect those he loves or stay and defend his home. Leaving would also mean they could escape the prying eyes of the government. After some things that happen that they do not quite know all the details about, they think they should leave.

Fans of the novel liked how vivid the author is with his details, and it causes everything to jump off the page. Some felt that the characters were further fleshed out and were developed further in this novel. Once again, the author delivers a great read that will keep the fans returning to read more about these characters and their future.

There is a lot of factual details about surviving from the author, which showed that he knows his stuff. Some felt that they were able, just from reading the novel, that they would be prepared for the end of the world.

Some did not like that the novel ends right before something very big happens, causing them to have to buy the next installment if they want to know what happens next. Some did not like Morgan’s wife and felt that she whined the whole time and is a spoiled woman.

She does not help all that much, just whines. Some felt that it was too anti-government and the characters were extremes (either good or bad, no in between).

Bought all 12 Audible books. Love them so much I listen to them twice. Duke Fontaine as narrator is amazing. When is book 13 being released? Book 12 ended with a major cliffhanger so I’m anxious to get to book 13. Thanks for your work.
