Sarah Morgan is an USA Today bestselling author who was born, in United Kingdom in 1948. As she once said, she began scribbling stories when she was just a child. Her first attempts to publish her book failed, but she never gave up and sent it again and again to Harlequin and finally, her first Medical Romance was accepted. Nowadays, Sarah Morgan is a successful and well-know author for the sensuality and humor she writes her contemporary, hot and happy romances.

Sarah says that her success among readers lies in her habit of reading a lot of books, newspapers and magazines. Besides reading, she likes to communicate with other people much and observe their behavior and ways of responding to a certain situation for turning them into her characters afterwards, though she says that ideas always come to her when she begins writing. The other factor making Sarah to be considered as a popular author is that she is always in contact with her characters. She thinks that it is exciting to see how characters come to life and hear them speak as if it is all real.

Sarah Morgan has been nominated for the famous RITA© Award from the Romance Writers of America for three times and won the award twice in 2012 and 2013 for her books ‘’Doukakis’s Apprentice’’ and ‘’A Night of No Return’’ consequently. Sarah Morgan is the author of numerous book series and novels, such as Sleigh Bells in the Snow, Sleepless in Manhattan, First Woman in Forever, Burned, Maybe This Christmas, A Night of No Return and many others.

‘’From Manhattan with Love’’ series are among her most successful works among readers. The idea of writing these series came to her when she was walking in Central Park of New York and admiring her beautiful surrounding. She found that the surrounding would make a great setting for her new series. And after walking through ‘’leafy Brooklyn streets’’, as she described it, Sarah decided that her three heroines should live in that perfect place.
‘’ From Manhattan with Love’’ series includes four books called; Midnight at Tiffany’s , Sleepless in Manhattan, Sunset in Central Park and at last, Miracle on 5th Avenue .

The main character of ‘’ From Manhattan with Love’’ is Matilda, who works as a New York waitress but has a passion for writing, especially about kickass heroines.

The first series of the book, called ‘’Midnight at Tiffany’s’’, starts with the phrase ‘’This is New York and anything can happen here’’. The protagonist of the book is Matilda, who is a shy girl, discontent with her height. She works as a waitress and she likes to dream a lot, which often hampers her during work. She is somewhat clumsy and she is always in a fear of losing her job. The fatal incident happens when she drops a tray of champagne on the guest during an important event held at a gorgeous venue. She is taken back and all she can do is to escape from there. The escape leads her to meet handsome millionaire by the name Chase Adams. They seem so different, they have different social statuses but there is something common between these two which attracts them like gravitation towards each other. The night of escape which became fatal for Melinda leads to an amazing night at Tiffany’s.
This incident becomes a life changing event for both Melinda and Chase. Chase is convinced that he had met the women of his life and they can have future together, while Matilda is not sure, but Chase will not give up. This is a short, sweet and great romance with a touch of fairy tale. ‘’Midnight at Tiffany’s’’ book is sometimes referred as a real time Cinderella story set in New York.

The second book in the series of ‘’From Manhattan with Love’’ is called ‘’Sleepless in Manhattan’’. It tells about a girl named Paige Walker who is a calm and competent event planner, but she is fond of challenges a lot. Her early life has been series of hospital visits under the vigilant eye of her parents and brother. Now that she moved to New York and became an event planner, she can live her life to fullest far from her native Puffin Island. The other character of the book is Jake Romano who is Paige’s brother’s best friend. Jake and Paige know each other from early childhood and forged a friendship once which ended on love and heartbreak story. Now, when Paige and her friends leave their job, Jake decides to help them set up their own event planning business. But meeting Jake again renews Paige’s old feelings towards him again. Not wanting to be rejected and feeling that Jake does not seem to be willing on trusting his feelings to her, Paige conceals her love to avoid heartbreak again. Jake feels guilty as everything gets out and the evolution of their relationships begins. However, Jake has promised Paige’s brother not to lay a hand on her many years ago, besides the way his mother treated him made him not to fall in love with anyone at all. Spending more time together, as they own their business, Paige and Jake find it difficult to fight their attraction towards each other.

Besides the developing relationship between woman and men, as Paige and Jake, readers can admire the real friendship between Paige, Frankie, and Eva, who were friends since they were young. There are always there for each other. This good example on how a perfect friendship should be. Paige, Frankie, and Eva love, support and care for each other genuinely.

Having loved ‘’Sleepless in Manhattan’’ and ‘’Midnight at Tiffany’s’’, the readers will find it exciting to dive into the next two books of ‘’From Manhattan with Love’’ series, called ‘’Sunset in Central Park’’ and ‘’Miracle on 5th Avenue’, which are another two brilliantly written novels by Sarah Morgan.
