Jennifer Crusie was born in 1949 in small town known as Wapakoneta, Ohio. After Crusie’s graduation from Wapakoneta High School, she joined college at the Bowling Green state university where she earned a degree in Art and Education. She also has a Master’s degree upon her graduation from Wright State University in women’s literature and Professional writing. she was also on the role of women in a mystery fiction from 1840 to 1920. She has a master’s degree of MFA in Fiction from the Ohio State University. Jennifer has also finished all the Ph.D. coursework at the Ohio State University.
She got married in 1971, whereby she followed her husband of the air force to Wichita Falls in Texas. Soon he was transferred to Dayton, Ohio which somehow led to their divorce. They have a single daughter called Mollie. Mollie manages the business dealings of her mother through Jennifer’s Argh Ink LLC. The first career of Crusie was teaching, she began with pre-school, then went to elementary and junior high art, then English in high school English, and finally English courses for the undergraduates in college. These included 15 years in Beavercreek public school in Ohio. The subjects which she taught were literature, art, mythology, college composition, Bible in literature, American and British literature and creative writing. She also spent time in directing the costumes and sets the drama department of the high school. She has as well taught in a couple of universities that include; Wright State University, Antioch University, McDaniel college and Ohio State University where she largely helped the designing of the curriculum for the Romance writing program for the graduate level.
During the first three years of her writing career, her novels were published as category romances which are under the Silhouette, Bantam Loveswept lines and Harlequin. Crusie signed a deal with St. Martin’s Press in 1995, and started writing single title novels, where her debut novel was Tell Me Lies. Changing to longer and non-category novels was a simple task for her. She has had a long partnership with Jennifer Enderlin, her editor, which has enabled her to explore numerous variety of story-telling aspect. Her great skill publishing has made her bestseller in USA Today, New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. Jennifer’s other great novels include the Crazy people of 2012, Maybe This time released in 2010, Hot Toy which was released in 2006, Bet me 2004 Crazy for you of 1999 and Tell Me Lies 1998, Crazy for You 1999.
Jennifer’s great novel Bet Me which was released back in 2004 is about Minerva Dobbs who is angry because getting dumped by her boyfriend. She is even angrier when she overhears her immediate ex betting Calvin Morrisey that he, Calvin, is not able to lure her into bed. Due to the bet she agrees to a dinner date with Calvin, planning to only have a good meal and then brush him off. They discover that they have pretty little in common: Calvin is a risk taker yet she is an actuary; Calvin likes Elvis Costello, she also likes Elvis. The issue is that the slightly overweight Minerva is attracted to Calvin — and interestingly he is attracted back. Even though they keep trying to avoid one another, destiny has contradicting ideas. Minerva’s idea of the, being “just friends” is continuously getting thwarted. The book features rich characters of family and friends as well. Two best friends of Minerva also pair up with the friends and business partners of Calvin. For Bonnie and Roger It is love-at-first-sight which results into a happily-ever-after. Lisa finds Tony very useful as well as good in bed. Emilio is Calvin’s college roommate. He runs an Italian restaurant that has yummy food where the friends often meet. Calvin’s ex, Cin, is working on a book on with the topic of love. Minerva’s sister called Diana is supposed to get married in a month’s time. The nephew of Calvin called Harry, is in the small League team that is coached by Tony, Calvin and Roger. Calvin brings Minerva stray cat that she names Elvis. He also teaches her how to cook and ensures her that it is fine to eat Carbs and butter. Bet Me shows Jennifer Crusie’s returning to romance after having a string of titles that geared towards women’s fiction crowd prior to 2004. Some readers applaud Jennifer’s idea of addressing on women and size. Minerva’s friend is often telling her that she has to have belief in the fairy tale. After Minerva accepts meeting Calvin for a picnic she loses one of her shoe and he gets it back to her. He finds something that she believed she had lost “magically”…

On her self-actualization process and a worthy lover, Maddie Faraday, a small-town girl finds herself in a chase that is classic and for general upheaval. It all starts when Maddie Faraday Gets a pair of black lace underpants that is Crotch less under the seat of cardilac of her husband. The setting is in Ohio where gossip is wide and people know each other’s businesses. Maddie has always been a good wife girl, a good girl, a good mother to her 8-year old daughter as well as a good daughter. But the finding out of the few triangles of the illicit lace starts weekend which shows the uprooting of the entire life of Maddie. In the middle of her stressful morning, C.L. Sturgis who has no clue an the one who took the Virginity of Maddie has 20 years later grown up into an accountant that is hot-looking accountant who comes looking for her husband, Brent. Brent is suspected in a case of large amounts of money embezzlement. Maddie’s car is then totalled and she suffers a concussion. Moreover Brent, who has disappointed the whole of Frog Pointers, is found shot-dead in a lane of a former lover. The killer’s identity is fairly obvious; Maddie then grows still estranged from C.L. Jennifer’s Tell Me Lies is an extremely interesting novel as well as a great success
