Elizabeth Boyle is one of the prominent authors of America who has written a number of exciting novels based on the historical and contemporary romance genres. The members of her family say that she has always been an excellent storyteller. Moving ahead with her far-fetched tales about her imaginary cow or several other fictitious accounts, she went on to write and publish her first novel titles Brazen Angel. This novel made its entry with a bang and won the Dell Diamond Award in the category of the best debut novel. It also won the RITA Award by the Romance Writers of America in the category of the Best First Book. Since then, author Boyle has gone on to pen down more than 20 adventurous and romance books in her writing career. During her struggling days as an author, Elizabeth understood the fact that the aspiring authors still had to fetch for their daily livelihood while following their dreams. Therefore, she took up the job as a paralegal. After working as a paralegal for a few years, Elizabeth was offered a job at a software firm in North America, in which she had to handle the piracy cases. During that time, she also participated in criminal and civil seizures along with the Canadian RCMP, US Customs, and FBI. With the years of experience that she gained from these jobs, author Boyle was able to use her knowledge about counterfeiting, espionage, and forgery in her modern day novels. Eventually, she left her previous job and became a full time author. Other than writing romance novels, author Boyle is also interested in gardening, traveling, knitting, visiting tea shops, reading, and learning about low-recipes similar to her what her grandmother used to make. Whenever she gets any free time, she likes to spend them with her two sons. As of today, Elizabeth lives happily in Seattle along with her husband Terry and sons. She very well considers her hectic life as a writer to be the best example of heaven that anyone could wish for.
One of the successful novel series written by author Elizabeth Boyle is the Brazen series, which consists of a total of 3 books published between the years 1997 and 1999. One of the initial novels of the series is titled ‘Brazen Heiress’ which was published by the Dell publishing house in the year 1998. The plot of this novel deals with the lives of the characters named Napoleon, Paris, Adelaide, Lily D’Artiers Copeland, and Webb Dryden. In the opening sequence of the plot of the novel, it is shown that Napoleon lusted for the fortune of Paris while she used to swoon. Adelaide, who was the claimant of the Chevenoy fortune, kept captivating the Parisians with her mysterious past and fresh beauty. In the meantime, no one knew that the recently returned heiress was Lily Copeland, the dazzling double of Adelaide, who was sent by the British government to obtain several priceless journals. Lily had a man to her side who had lured her for spying and the one whom she did not love at all. Webb Dryden is introduced as a bold and dashing spy who was blown away by the beauty of Lily. He was working undercover and posed as the fiance of Lily. However, attracts the attention of Napoleon because of the brazen ways of Lily. Therefore, Webb begins to see Lily as someone more than he had bargained for. She had become a beauty who had touched his heart and had haunted him in his dreams. As a result, the two began sharing passions that imperiled their work and lives.
The second novel of the Brazen series written by author Elizabeth Boyle was titled ‘Brazen Temptress’ and was published by the Dell publishing house in the year 1999. The plot of this novel revolved around the lives of the primary characters named Maureen Hawthorne and Julien D’Artiers. In the opening sequence of the plot of the novel, Maureen is depicted as a pirate who had the intention of working out her treacherous plan by sweeping everyone in the elegant ballroom with her beauty. In order to save herself from getting executed she was tasked to identify the infamous privateer who was present in the ballroom in disguise. Being the wife of Julien, Maureen Hawthorne was the only who could expose the double role of her husband. When Julien saw Maureen, he was stunned to find her alive as she was presumed dead. He considered her to be the love of his life and was shocked to see her turquoise eyes determined to ruin him by exposing his disguised appearance. Maureen held Julien responsible for the death of her father and was determined to get her killed. But, when he took her in his arms and began dancing with her, she was tormented by the memories their old passion. Julien was determined to make her come back into his life once again and was willing to do all that he could in order to prevent her from losing again.
