After coming to know about that, the new owners of the house hire Pru Parke to restore it to its previous glory as soon as possible, as they were planning to represent it within a year during a summer party. However, the events in the life of Pru Parke get in the way of her plans. She seems to get distracted by the charm of the handsome detective inspector, Pearse and at the same time, tries to dig into the mystery of her British roots. When it seems that she is making a considerable progress in her efforts, each of her project gets wrecked and vandalized by havoc. This is followed by the sudden death of one of her workers, which makes her even more worried. Even though the police find a suspect, Pru seems to be certain that the real killer is still out in the open. As a result, she finds herself entangled in wild and evil intentions, and just has the support of detective inspector Pearse to back her. With his help, Pru Parke intends to find out the real killer and at the same time complete the project on the Primrose House before the deadline.
