Like many young girls, Magan Vernon had a dream of what she wanted to be when she grew up. A clear vision of who she wanted to be in society, how she would be making the world better. It is after all, always about making the world a better place, for most people. Unlike other little girls who wanted to become models and pilots or CEOs at some big companies, Magan Vernon wanted to change the world by creating a form of escape for an audience. Not the kind of escape that is found in movies and stand- up comedy, but a much deeper form of escape through writing. And she did fulfil her dream having writer many book series that create a whole new world for her readers, a world where love triumphs.
Her slogan: “making you fall in love one book boyfriend at a time” give her readers something to look forward to. It guarantees the book will have some romance. Magan Vernon is a new adult and a young adult fictional writer who mostly writes about superhuman beings in love with human people, the perfect kind of romance if you as many people.
As in her books, she too did find her prince charming who swept her off her feet. She fell in love and married her long time sweetheart with whom she has the joy of having two children with. Magan Vernon is the kind of celebrity who prefers to keep her life private and keep her things to herself which is perhaps why she preferred to live in Texas, a small town rather that the big and flashy cities like new York. The cool climate and the lack of city noise, which can be very destructing, are probably the reason she loves writing from her home where she can find inspiration. She has a big number of fans who love her work because of the vividly descriptive language she uses. Her choice of words takes her audience to her world, allowing them to see what she sees, to feel what she feels and to be emerged in the characters as much or more than she is. This is what has allowed here to keep her fan base growing by the day allowing her books to make sales and her name to become the household name for many homes.
According to Magan, the worst thing that can happen to a person is being negative and being a complainer. She made the realization that she too had been complaining a lot and therefore made the decision to see everything from a positive angle. She made the decision to see everything positively whether it is bad or good because she realized that everything happens for a reason.
In her book series “my alien romance”, she speaks if two characters, Alex Bianchi, a young woman looking to join the Colombia University. One thing her life is missing is the joy or extracurricular activities. Putting it shortly, her life is too serious and quite frankly boring. To make her life a little bit more fun, she decided to take on an internship at her father’s military base circle. The military base she finds out that aliens and humans are working together. This blows her away when she arrives. When she gets to the military base, aliens attack her and this blows her away even more. During her attack, we are introduced to a new character, an alien named Ace who comes to her rescue like a knight and shining armor. Ace is a caltain, which translates to the cool kids in high school.
Because of this and many other physical features Ace has, Alex is naturally drawn to him and even become his working partner at the base. Like all working places relationships between co- workers and especially humans and aliens is prohibited, but there is nothing like forbidden loge to make you want someone, or an alien even more. It becomes serious when the two begin dating and everyone just tries to keep them away from each other. This attempts to make them stay off each other get so serious that it becomes life threatening for both of them and they end up just trying to save each other’s lives and stay alive themselves. It is the kind of book that reminds you of the Men in Black and the kind of love that was shared between Romeo and Juliet. The books in this series follow the storyline of these two lovers deciding whether they are going to stay together and weather the storm or they are going to break up and just look for love amongst their own species. Is there love the kind that is strong enough to fight off everything or will it break and leave them tossing in the wind? Are the people and aliens who are trying so hard to separate the going to win and keep them apart or are they going to win at killing one of them? It is the kind of series with the best description of what is happening. It takes the reader to a new world giving them the feeling of wanting to get in the book and slap one of the characters.
Magan Vernon has also found a way of capturing and keeping the attention of her audience locked with the level of action and suspense that she creates. It makes it very difficult for the reader to predict what will happen next which for many book readers is something they want. She makes you want to find out more about what is going on and the fact that you cannot predict and do not know what is happening makes the book all the more interesting. In her own special way she has found a way of ensuring that her readers do not get bored. Her ability to make every series inn her books different without losing the uniqueness of her creativity makes it priceless. Her readers get to enjoy reading a completely different book and storyline each time they take on her books.
