John O’Brien is an accomplished author known for writing series such as the A New World series.

He is a former instructor pilot in the United States Air Force. He transitioned to working in Special Operations for the later part of his career, getting a campaign ribbon for serving in Desert Storm. After his service in the military, John decided to join up with a local department as a firefighter and an EMT.

He became a firefighter and also got into the industry of Information Technology working in the field of corporate management. He is also writing on a full time basis.

John is a former marathon runner and now makes his home in the Pacific Northwest region, a beautiful area. He also loves to go in the Capital Forest and go mountain biking, take a hike somewhere in the Olympic Peninsula, or go on his road bike along the various scenic roads that exist.

In its place is a material world created by humanity. The vast majority of the population is gone. It’s been replaced by a new species that is cunning and savage, hunting and moving at night. Can they adapt to what the world has become, or are they going to find that they really were only suited to the privileged existence that they had lived before this?

He’s usually taken risky situations on himself, but with every new scenario that he finds himself in he has to consider all of his choices all the more seriously.

The safety of his children depends on every single thing that he does, and the safety of the survivors that remains has to be considered too. Every action that they take could lead to either greater safety and rewards or put them in incredible danger that they may not be able to walk away from.

Full of action and the story of a world that has completely changed from the way that it used to be, this is a tale that is going to keep you engaged and turning the page to find out what happens next.
