Jenna Satterthwaite is a published author.

She grew up in Spain and lived in France for a time. These days, she has finally settled down in the city of Chicago. She is married and shares three kids with her husband.

She studied classical guitar at the Convervatorio Profesional de Música de Zaragoza. She attended Indiana University, where she graduated with her BAs in English Literature and French.

Jenna works in an office from nine to five. There she types out a lot of emails while also consuming her fair share of high quality coffee. She has also been a singer once upon a time (and a songwriter too!) as part of Thornfield, a folk band.

When the winter season comes around, Jenna can be found typing by the fireplace and putting out stories on her laptop. When the summer comes around, she can be discovered at the pool with her kids getting a sunburn and wondering how a novel is even composed.

Jenna will be the first to say that she loves eating sushi, spending time reading in bed, and seeing women take their power back.

She was six years old when she started her autobiography. She wrote about how she loves herself and life and living, but also about how she doesn’t enjoy candy as much as others, and how much she loves crystal balls and how they are ‘so cool’. Most of these things are still true, except the bit about the crystal balls.

In this story, the main character is named Julia. She is a Synth and her purpose is to find love.

Julia Walden is a synthetic woman who was designed not to be herself but to be part of a very specific situation. She was created to compete on a reality television show called The Proposal. If she is successful, she will end up winning the heart of Josh LaSala, the bachelor in question.

Casting the Synth on the show has generated a lot of controversy and people are coming out of the woodwork with their opinions. However, she is allowed to be part of the show and the filming moves ahead. Everything seems to be working out swimmingly when Josh gets down on one knee and proposes to her.

It seems like an ideal ending, something out of a fairy tale. But are Josh and Julia prepared for the reality?

Fifteen months later, the two have gotten married. They are choosing to raise their baby in a small town in Indiana and are doing everything that they can to try and have a normal life. But the show has not been forgotten and there are plenty of people ready to ostracize them or hate on them.

Everything is coming apart at the seams and Julia has no idea who she can trust. It is clear that it is time for her to handle the investigation personally.
