We may not be able to see them, but the fact remains that angels are all around us. They inspire awe. They draw us to them. They are beautiful, stunning beings. They also might be out for your soul and are not all about heaven like you might think they are.

When it comes to these beings, mortals dream of seeing one of them. Thousands of people make their way to The Church of Angels to get healed by these creatures. But what if the magnetism that these beings evoke is not what it appears to be?

Main character Willow has always sensed that she’s different from other people. She’s different not in the sense that she enjoys working on cars while most other girls are shopping at the mall or getting their nails done. No, Willow has long known that she has a gift that others don’t.

Willow is able to look into the futures of people and get to know their hopes, dreams, and regrets. All she has to do to access this information is to touch them. That’s all it takes and the info comes streaming in. She also has no idea where this power came from or why she has this ability.

When she meets a guy named Alex, she might just find out where this power came from. Alex knows about her secret and also knows about angels. He’s an assassin, and he’s now on a mission to stop her.

Alex is handsome and mysterious, and knows more about this girl than she does. He knows her powers link her up to forces both dark and dangerous, and he is one of the only people remaining who is able to fight them. The forces in her also make her irresistible, and Alex is having a tough time resisting falling for this girl.

She’s supposed to be his enemy, but Alex is quickly forgetting that fact. When he finds out nothing is what it appears to be, the two must do what they can to try and take on good and evil, while hoping that they are on the right side. Can they make it out of this? Will Alex have to abandon Willow in order to defeat the darkness, or will love win out? Read this book to find out what happens!

Angel Fire is the second book in the Angel series by L.A. Weatherly. If you thought that the first supernatural romance was interesting and sweet, follow along with all of the passion and the action once more in the sequel!

The angels have returned with a vengeance, and they’re more dangerous than ever. The angel menace has grown exponentially following the Second Wave. Now Willow and Alex have run away and they are doing what it takes to survive.

Willow has a prophetic dream that indicates that the pair should head to Mexico City. There they meet up with a small group of angel killers. Kara is the leader of this group, a beautiful woman who also happens to be a link from Alex’s past.

However, the team doesn’t quite trust Willow. Even after Alex becomes the leader and starts training them for the Seraphic Council’s rush attack. This elite group is known as The Twelve, and is comprised of angels who are extremely powerful. Meanwhile, the group is also being watched by Willow’s angel-father Raziel, who is hatching his own plan to try and take down the angels.

Willow is keeping from Alex that her dream featured a mysterious boy. In the dream, she felt strongly attracted to him. There was no way of telling that this guy was going to appear in real life. Seb is handsome and brooding and when he appears he’s not only gorgeous but a half angel.

Apparently Seb has spent his entire life looking for Willow. Now he’s found her. Alex gets him to help protect Willow, but he is concerned that the chemistry between them may lead to something more. Still, he can’t just leave Willow without protection due to his own selfish personal fears. Even if he is worried that the presence of this new half angel might have the power to break them apart.

Will the connection that Seb has with Willow overpower the one between Alex and Willow? Can their love stand the test of these new situations, or will the half angel’s allure prove to be too much and overpower their relationship? What will ultimately be the impact on the human race at large? Read this supernatural romance, the second in L.A. Weatherly’s Angel series, to find out!
