Robert Cole is an American published author. He is also a political science professor who has formerly served in the United States Army as an infantry officer.

Robert has been a consultant for different classified government projects. He cannot divulge what he has worked on but it has provided a good operating point from which to jump off of for his debut novel, Cataclysm.

He is also an entrepreneur. Robert served in the 101st Airborne Division as well as the 75th Ranger Regiment in the Army. He also is the creator and the author of the Matt Sheridan series, a series of fictional post-apocalyptic thrillers. The best-selling Amazon series follows along with the Sheridans as they do their best to make it through a terrorist scenario that takes out the world.

He has also written Divided We Stand, a political thriller that came out in 2024.

The Matt Sheridan series began in 2023 with the release of the first novel, Cataclysm. It was followed by Breaking Contact, the third novel Standing Ground, and the fourth novel Bounding Overwatch.
